PERFECT!!!

A home run for Sonos. I've been wishing for a portable speaker to add to my ever expanding Sonos collection and this one is perfect. It truly sounds amazing. Has a surprising amount of bass and can easily fill a large room and sound wonderful. It has a very long wireless range. I haven't had to switch into bluetooth mode yet. The design is beautiful. Thank you Sonos!

I use the Move in my office where I keep the charging base most of the time, but it is always ready to be picked up and moved to wherever I want music and don't already have it. It moves easily from my office to the garage, to the back deck or to my shop.

This product has challenges you need to be aware of

We got the product immediately upon release as we have other SONOS products (Play, soundbar...); all of which we are extremely happy with. The flexibility this offers with mobility made it an easy choice to make however it appears this product comes with some serious challenges that have not yet been addressed with the updates we've installed so I held on providing a hasty review expecting it would be addressed. This product freezes frequently even when remaining fully charged. A hard reset requires holding the power button for 20-30 seconds. I'm doing this 3-4 times per week and it just shows as offline in the app yet the indicator light remains on but just does not do anything when you try to initiate play. 1st time we have had problems with any SONOS product so for now until they address these issues save yourself the headaches.

Cons: Freezes frequently, Unreliable

Works only sometimes!

So I have a three months premium free trial from Spotify. And when I asked sonos to play music it told me I don't have a premium account. Five minutes later it plays. Not good!!
Cons: Unreliable

Surprisingly useful

I bought the Move to complement my existing Sonos products and to use outdoors. I have multiple speakers throughout the house. What I found surprising is I am using my Move all the time inside the house. I pick it up and bring it to the bathroom when I am in the shower or in other areas where I don't have a speaker. It is very handy and when I am done I drop it back on the charger ring. It seems minor but not plugging it in is very nice. People argue its pricey but I feel its worth every penny.

I just find it frustrating that there is no place to plug in a cord to direct-wire the speaker into the wifi (when the speaker kept disappearing from the app and the app was not able to locate the speaker to set it up - again - the app directed me to plug the Sonos Move into the wifi, which isn't possible. I was also frustrated that no where on the Sonos website was I able to find (to be fair, I could have missed it) a statement regarding the fact that the Sonos Move cannot connect to a TV, rather, it MUST go through a Beam, or the other usuals. I wish Sonos would clearly state - REQUIRES Beam or ... in order to connect to TV.

Chose Sonos over Bose and glad I did. Easy to hook up. I have a Move and a One SL and a one without voice control. I did not want voice control at this time and it works great without using it. The system sounds excellent throughout the house.
