This product is good but there are better sounding products for less cost. It was easy to set up. It sounds best indoors vs. outdoors. The volume is not very loud for good outdoor listening unless you are within a 10-15' radius.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Streams All My Music, and More, Wireless
Cons: Sound is good but the volume is not high outside

Did not buy into SONOS because of the limited 802.11 limitations years ago. Interested in a updated wireless speaker recently and compared the SONOS to Bose again and this time finalized on the SONOS MOVE because of the bass and adaptive sound utilizing the microphone that set it apart from BOSE. (and 802.11 expanded) Easy install and use until a little over a month of use, the speaker can not be found... in app. Went through several options but the MOVE speaker could not be found on the home WiFi?? Reset the Bluetooth, WiFi no changes to the home access point so started the setup again with the application just informs me that "something went wrong connecting - try again or cancel" ??? Uninstalled the app from the iOS device and reinstalled and now the connection is established and speaker is usable again? I understand the failures can happen but give the end-user some troubleshooting options within the app. NO options from the app unless the speaker(s) can be found when starting up the app. Assuming this problem was because the version of the app was applied on the iOS or the iOS being updated itself...
Was a nightmare to setup. After connecting and turning it off it needed to be reconnected again! Searching for the Bluetooth on my iPhone 11 it wouldn't find it. You must have WiFi to setup and connect. I bought this for the Bluetooth, I don't have WiFi. Sound quality wasn't great for the high pricetag.
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Poor Sound Quality, Unreliable
The Sonos move works great and sounds much better than the other devices I have with Alexa. The problem is it will NOT allow multi room music with other Alexas. It advertises Alexa is built in but only part of it. I called customer service to make sure I hadn't done something wrong during set up and I hadn't. It is not compatible with Alexas multi room music function. So you decide, does it have Alexa built in or not? It was a gift so I'll be keeping it but not buying anymore Sonos until this is fixed.
Better than almost all other portable Bluetooth speakers but

Great sound, somewhat portable, useful for indoors or on the deck. Does not support Bluetooth 5 or AptX HD and if I wasn't so frustrated with poor sound speakers, I would have rejected this. Marshall portable speakers were a first choice but I decided to go with Sonos for the proven audio features. The other major issue is the lack of equalizer. Using Bluetooth and PowerAmp on an Android phone allows me to use the 16-band equializer to tune the speaker. Of course, Trueplay tuning can't be done on an Android and that's a real annoyance. In general, these missteps make it hard to recommend the speaker and I would wait for a Move 2 to be released. in 2020, lack of Bluetooth 5 is silly.
I love using this as the main speaker in my main living space, but also to grab and take to the backyard or garage. The sound is full and rich, and setup was extremely easy. When I setup a new network in my house, I had to reset the app to connect the speaker.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
