I use the Move everywhere! Backyard, Patio, and where I'm working around the house. And I've taken the Move to the Park, sat out back of the car and used the Bluetooth feature.
Pros: Battery and Bluetooth operation, Free Control Options, Wireless
This is a great product with great sound quality. I did not have a lot of space for big speakers and this ones speaker fills the room with beautiful sound. It is crisp and clear and all tones of the music. I would highly recommend this - great sound! great value!
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
Already had the Beam and Sub. This connected in seconds and is easy to lift off the charger and take out to the porch. Full, deep sound. Have not tested the waterproof or outdoor durability yet.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
Great sound. Terrible switching between bluetooth and wifi

Great sound but its impossible to switch between bluetooth and wifi. My kids will use it in their room in bluetooth mode. Then when I want to switch over to wifi/sonos mesh it takes forever. I usually have to just leave it for a few hours and then it magically is back on my sonos mesh system. Very frustrating.
The Move sounds amazing (deep bass, crisp vocals) but since setting this up on my network with several other Sonos devices (6), the overall connection of the system has been spotty...even with great Wifi signal & bandwidth. The entire system is up to date so I'm stumped on what's going on with it. I was also surprised by the overall size/weight of the Move. Granted, I should've read more on the size specs prior to purchasing, but I wouldn't say this is extremely portable (it would take up a good portion of a bag/backpack). It would also be nice if a better travel case were an option (better yet, included) along with an additional travel-friendly USB cable versus the 'ring'' it comes with (or even if the cord just unplugged from the ring to increase portability).
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Free Control Options, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound
Great sound! Shaky connectivity. Spotty user experience.

The sound of the Sonos Move is worlds better than the Bose SoundColorII that I used daily for many years. But the device often disconnects between wifi and Blutooth, or won't stay connected. Controlling it via the app is also difficult - do I use Spotify's app, the Sonos app, both...? Physical volume controls on my iPhone work intermittently. Honestly very disappointed - I miss the easy functionality of a much less expensive speaker. My Bose "just worked" every time, and not so with Sonos.
