Fantasic Addition to the Sonos Fleet

This is my third SONOS product, after having purchased two SONOS One speakers. The MOVE is an excellent addition to the SONOS fleet, offering both WiFi and Bluetooth options. We use this portable speaker at the hot tub, camp fire, you name it! The set up was easy and it easily linked in with our existing devices. Well done SONOS!

Frustrating

I bought this speaker based on reviews. It worked great with bluetooth but I could not get it to work with WiFi despite doing everything possible. Constant error messages. The set up process just frustrated the heck out of me so I just gave up and returned it.
Pros: Superior Sound
Cons: Difficult Setup
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Move is my most recent addition to my Sonos system. The sound is great, and I love the convenience of mobility with this one. I can take it out on my deck and bring it back inside without worrying about the power cord.

Perfect addition

The Move was the perfect addition to my setup at home for listening to music. While my main listening is done via my other Sonos speakers, the move filled the gap for the areas in my home that I spend little time in and for when I venture outdoors on my property but still want to jam out.

The Move is a great addition to my Sonos One setup and the recent introduction of Sonos Radio means my three speakers are rarely not playing music. Move is a bit pricey, but if it continues to perform as well as it is at the moment, I'll remain satisfied with my investment. I love the volume controls on the device itself as that certainly makes it much more functional. I am not thrilled with the lack of seamlessness with the Sonos app and other products. Sonos still seems to think that most people use only their smartphones to control music and that's just not the case. Setting-up any Sonos device and getting it to work well with BOTH the desktop Controller and the Smartphone App is a royal pain in the rear! The instructions are lacking, at best, and either wrong or woefully inadequate in most cases. For someone who is not tech-savvy, get ready to be frustrated! Once you figure it out, it works -- mostly. Move still doesn't respond completely well with the Controllers. It has a mind of it's own and, especially with volume, will not integrate as well as the One speakers did. Sonos needs to do some work to improve their App/Desktop integration. The barely work together as it is and then, just recently, their "upgrade" completely blew away my favorites! I was not a Sonos fan the day that I found that all of my favorites had to be reset! For the money, I would expect better from Sonos. However, once you get past the poor apps, so-so online support and limited tech support hours, the products themselves are great. But, what's the point of having great products that people can't use or find frustrating to use, right?

Cons: Difficult Setup

We use this speaker in the backyard while working, socializing, etc. and are very happy with it. The sound quality is excellent. The battery seems to charge fairly quickly. I only wish we had two!

the Sonos Move is a brilliant speaker/audio streaming device. You can use it both with the Sonos system and through blutooth streaming if your Sonos system is not available. Portable, with a carry handle. The speaker system itself, has tremendous sound and rival much larger, more expensive speaker configurations. I moved from a UE Boom to this speaker and it is far and above a superior music device.
