My go to speaker system now

My comments are only about Sonos Move, although I also have other Sonos components. The Move has been a better than expected listening experience for several reasons: sound quality is excellent, with a rich bottom end and crystal clear upper ranges, especially when carried outdoors; the cordless battery power adds mobility and the innovative hoop charger doesn't require a plug; the flexibility to seamlessly flip between Sonos Wifi and BlueTooth music sources expands the music selection greatly without complications. I'm not a fan of voice control features at all so the ability to turn that off via the app was also a nice feature. I actually held off buying Move at first because of the built in Alexa feature.
Pros: Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless

The Lake experience just got better!

We brought the Move out to the lake and the audio has been great and is not only appreciated by my family but also friends that have commented "what a great speaker" while we sat around the campfire.
Pros: Bluetooth, Easy to Set Up, Streams All My Music, and More, Wireless

Terrific sound

We didn't want to pay $3,000 to extend our surround sound to living room and patio so opted for the Sonos Move. It is great for our uses. We can have the Move on in the living room in addition to our Sonos surround sound in family room/kitchen. Very happy with our purchase.

Another excellent Sonos product

Love the Move speaker. Haven't had the time to install an outdoor speaker setup. This is a great alternative for me. The flexibility of wifi or Bluetooth is invaluable, can take it on trips etc and stream from my phone. The wifi strength is excellent. I've positioned it 75+ feet from nearest wifi extender and it still plays (though beyond 75' does cut out at points). The sound is great, wish it was just a bit louder but definitely fits my needs outdoor by the pool. For larger gatherings if needed I can stereo pair it w/ another Sonos speaker to bolster it. I'd compare the sound to that of a Play 3, maybe just a hair weaker. Definitely not as strong as a Play 5. But it's a totally wireless speaker! Not as small as the major competitors but sound is much better/stronger.

My first Sonos!

First I love the sound, it has a great clarity to it and does get loud when needed. From rock to folk the Move handles the sound very well.

I have 24 speakers in my Sonos 1 music system. The move has allowed me to take the music anywhere I want to add more sound. I also use it at the beach, playing horseshoes, at the pool, and whenever and wherever else I go. It's very easy to transition from the Sonos platform to Blue Tooth and back again. I love my JBL speakers for this as well, but the MOVE has more volume. Yes, it's heavier, but worth the extra minor effort. I highly recommend the entire system of SONOS 1 and the MOVE definitely enhanced it!!

The Move is Awesome

I love the addition of the Move to my Sonos play 1 inside speakers. The move let's me take my music wherever I go whether I side or out. Love having it in the backyard to enjoy while gardening or relaxing outdoors. The sound is great from any point where I've placed it.
