Very disappointed that the device jumps from one WiFi network to another in my house. It gets separated from my other Sonos devices and I cannot combine them when this happens.
We use this for outdoor use and it sounds great. Very sturdy construction and easy to use. When fully charged, battery lasts for several hours which is helpful. I typically store this when not in use outside so it may stay in the closet for several days. What I didn't realize is that the battery will continue to drain even when fully powered off which means I have to recharge the device a few hours before I actually want to use it. The battery will drain within 2-3 days if left on standby mode and about 7-10 days if fully powered off. It's better if you leave it on the charging ring and take it with you when needed.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Wireless
Favorite portable! I'm a home automation/sound nerd.

Hands down the best main stream speaker I've found for casual listening on the patio, boat, picnic, etc. love the sound quality, form factor, battery life, cradle, and love that it works with all my music sources including airplay 2 and Spotify. Google voice is handy for when I'm in the pool.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Free Control Options, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Weather resistant, Wireless
I've heard MANY "portable speakers" and never once considered purchasing one due to the limitations of their fidelity. With Sonos' creation of the Move, I essentially took the plunge without much thought. I'd already bought in to the Sonos family, why not add a portable speaker? While the sound still doesn't blow me away, it's light years ahead of the competition. When I show up to other people's homes and have to listen to their tiny little portable speakers in the corner, it makes me wish I'd just show up with my Move more often. Especially because it can switch to Bluetooth mode, no Wi-Fi necessary, which is a beautiful addition. Along with services like Google Assistant and AirPlay, the Move is probably my most-used speaker of all my Sonos products simply due to how versatile it is and I can't remember life before it. I didn't realize how much I wish my speaker could come with me or could be easily moved until I purchased... the Move. It's been incredibly durable, reliable and I found it easy to set up. Getting Google Assistant working was a pain (still has issues), but given my other issues with setting up Google services, I'm not inclined to fault Sonos for that. Because it's honestly incredible how easy it is to get up and playing, especially using Spotify, Apple Music or Amazon Music. The fact that Sonos openly touts its strength against heat, cold and moisture, I don't worry about the Move being in one place or another. It sounds great enough, definitely better than any competitor I've heard and if I'm ever going to give the gift of Sonos to a friend or family, I will 100% start with the Move to get their listening parties started.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
