A great-sounding well-built portable speaker

I was introduced to this speaker when I rented a vacation home for a week back in October. I was so impressed with this speaker that my wife and I decided to treat each other to one for Christmas. I already have plenty of experience with portable speakers, but they're all bluetooth only. Being able to connect by Wifi makes all the difference, not to mention that the Move offers far superior sound to any bluetooth speaker that I've used. The speaker sits in the charging cradle the vast majority of the time in the center of my home, but it is really nice to be able to move it into another room or out onto my back porch as needed. We find that it works best if it is located against a wall in an adjoining room as a source of background music. You can then turn it up to get a fuller sound and not be overwhelmed by having the speaker sitting right on top of you. To sum it up, although the Move is expensive for a portable speaker, it is definitely a step up from a bluetooth speaker making it worth the money. We are very happy with our purchase.

Great except one thing

Great product. My only complaint is that I hafto reconnect the output audio every time I want to use the speaker. Even when I change apps to watch something different, I have to reconnect it. Super annoying.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound
Cons: Difficult to Use, Unreliable

Move speakers are totally portable. You can carry them anywhere you want great sound.

Perfect blend of portable and set up for a room

I love the flexibility of a battery powered smart speaker that can base our of a room always on charge to couple with Alexa plus the ability to jump out on the deck or anywhere you want to take it

Portable! Take it all over your home or outside within your WiFi range or use it as a Blue Tooth speaker! Love it!

Such high quality

I'm no audiophile, but I am amazed at how the Move can fill a room with full, smooth, high quality sound from such a small unit. I struggle to concentrate a lot of times and many typical speakers (like my phone or TV) can get on my nerves when I'm reading or even simply carry a conversation with my wife. But the sound Sonos produces is so rich that I can turn the volume down low enough to concentrate and it still fills the room. I am also really impressed by the quality of construction. I haven't dropped it or anything, but it feels extremely well built and looks great no matter where I put it. This price point was a stretch for me, but I couldn't be more pleased with the product.
