I expected the sound to be so much better than my Gen 1 Play 5 (the larger version) and it isn't. It sounds muddy. Really disappointed. I expected so much better. The playbar and subwoofer produce great sound.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Wireless
Cons: Difficult Setup, Poor Sound Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The best Bluetooth speaker. Period.

This is the single best Bluetooth speaker I've heard. The sound is exceptional, doubles as an in-room speaker when not traveling. Great battery life. I often compare it to the Roam (which, sadly, is a lackluster product) and am wowed at how incredible the sound is. I brought it on a trip where we had a large party in a big ballroom - this speaker delivered! If you're on the fence, don't be - buy the Move!

Issues arise if not put back on charging cradle.

I am fully subscribed to the Sonos ecosystem and have eight speakers of varying models. I purchased a pair of Move speakers for their portability when listening to music in the backyard. While I generally enjoy these devices, I have noticed that if you don't put them back on the charger at night, they will completely drain and the speaker will appear completely unresponsive, even when plugged into power. I spoke to tech support and they too determined the speaker was dead and initiated the paperwork for RMA. For the heck of it, I left the speaker on the charger for a few more hours and while it appeared unresponsive, it must have continued to charge without any indicator and when it reached 100%, it powered up again and started working just fine. I'm suspecting that there must be a firmware bug that will be fixed in a later revision but apart from this issue I experienced, the speaker has been great.

Cons: Batter / power issues
