I wanted an outside speaker for my Sonos system, but they don't really make one that can handle high humidity. A third party speaker would require another Amp and some serious wiring. The Move was a reasonable compromise. I can leave it on its charger by the front door and then carry it out whenever I want music on the porch. A little more effort than planned, but I probably won't have the replace the speaker in the foreseeable future.
