We bought a pair for our son for Christmas and he said they were one of the best presents he ever got. So when I was looking for headphones, I knew which ones to get and have not been disappointed!
Love the fit and noise cancelling feature. The sound is fantastic as well! Dissapointed w the color, it was not marketed well; the image on the site and the color I received were very different.
I bought this item to replace my beats headphones and while these are well-made and have okay sound they are a bit disappointing, compared with the beats headphones. The volume and pause buttons are awkward to find, and there’s an annoying voice telling you you’re connected and the battery level. I’m also not happy with the design of the earpieces that swivel as opposed to the beats which were more integral to the headset…it’s not as easy to take on & off. I also feel like the noise cancelling in not as good.

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback, it's genuinely helpful to hear how the QuietComfort Headphones compare to your previous Beats. A few notes that might help: the button placement does take some getting used to, but many find it becomes intuitive after a week or so of regular use. As for the voice prompts (connection status and battery level), these can actually be turned off or adjusted through the Bose app settings, so you're not stuck hearing them every time. Here is a helpful article for your voice prompt:

On the swiveling earcups, that's an intentional design choice for a flatter fold and more even ear pad contact, but we understand it can feel less snug than a more rigid, it is an integral design when putting them on or taking them off quickly. Regarding noise cancelling, Bose does offer adjustable ANC levels in the app, so it's worth checking that it's set to the highest level for your environment, as this can make a noticeable difference.
I purchased my pair of Bose QC headphones a couple weeks ago and this has to be one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. The headphones are comfortable and sit well on my ears without making them sweat a ton, and the swivel connectors help keep the headphones in place when turning or moving. The noise cancellation is pretty effective, too. I’ve worn them at home and hear very little when usually I can hear anyone coming and going in the stairwell. Out at a busy coffee shop, I can hear murmurs of conversation and the music, but it’s low and not distracting if I have nothing playing. The battery life is also solid and long lasting - I’ve left my headphones turned on over night and they still have a 30%-40% charge left in the morning. In terms of connecting to devices, the headphones connect easily. The only issue I encountered, which is really more of a Bose app issue, is that unless I adjusted the settings in the app, whenever I turned the headphones on, the automated voice would immediately start telling me it was connecting to multiple devices all at once while listing off the device names. But this was a minimal concern and easily solved.
These headphones are super comfortable! If you have a small head, keep a tighter grip so that the headphones don't slip off. I used a headband cover, which helps.
The noise cancellation is not perfect, but it's very good at helping me focus and blocking out most of the sound. As for the battery duration, I wish it would be much more but 25 hours is okay. If you're a heavy user like me, you'll need to charge more often.
Sadly, the connection to the Bose app is a hit or miss. To get it work, I force stop the app and then re-open the app. If you want to change the EQ and customize modes, you'll need the app. To reduce the hissing or popping noises, turn off the multi device connection.
I would highly recommend these headphones if you want the best comfort and noise cancellation. If a longer battery duration is what you're looking for, use another brand.
Great headphones comfortable fit ,sound is absolutely 💯 % ,love the convenience of not having to always use a cord connection ,I actually own 4 pairs of Bose headphones, and have been completely satisfied with all of them, lost my older headphones in my house fair ,so recently replaced by this newer model fantastic. Also ordered the AIRFLY SE fabulous addition to the headphones when traveling on board an airplane.Completely satisfied with all .The over ear fit is perfect,no problem staying on even when I fall asleep.
Good battery life tho I only listen 2-3 hours at any one time.Very comfortable and they do stay connected if in range.I wear them to mow the lawn so the noise cancellation is important and Bose fits the bill.I have bought 3 sets so far.
