Really great sound, mediocre battery life

Sound is really great, but the battery life falls short of the advertised 8 hours. After an overnight charge, I got 5hrs 8min at medium volume. The battery also seems to lose charge quickly when not being used, which means I have to recharge it frequently even if hasn't run for 5 hours in total between charges.
But again, the sound is fantastic. Even with the crappy battery life, I'd probably buy again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great looks and amazing sound

Nice product I had another one previoulsy purchased, I tried to pair them up to no avail but perhaps I just need to study the process a bit more in depth as it does require attention. The sound is awesome and the depth of that sound is expansive and very good.

I missed a sale earlier this year for the Onyx Studio 7, so I was very pleased the this Studio 8 came up!
The sound is very immersive, & fills a small room with clear tones!!
I have not yet tried it outdoors, but like that the speaker checks its sound field when turned on. I have learned to turn it off / then on when moving to a different room.

this product is excellent! caught a sell and i'm so glad i did, you get more than a bang for your buck! you get a very high quality speaker with great sound AND bass! gotta be one of the best on the market!

Amazing sound and overall build quality but no App

The sound quality is amazing, and the materials and design feel truly premium. However, I wish I had known there was no app connectivity. While you can pair two speakers for great stereo sound, you have to manually reconnect them every single time you use them. It’s quite inconvenient for daily use. It seems this feature is for the Onyx 9 series only, so adding app support for these would have made them perfect
