Amazing sound quality battery needs improvement

This speaker is AMAZING sonically. It plays music with excellent elegant quality neck and neck with Bose and surpassing Sonos speakers, The Onyx 8 adjusts the sound based on placement and it radiates through an entire 2-story stone house.
The engineer in me has 2 suggestions
1.) Update the app and firmware to give a better battery indication, perhaps a percentage
2.) Allow the USB service port to be used as a charge or quick charge option 8 hours is a long time for a full charge.
otherwise, i have been through almost every JBL Charge option offered (2 thru 4) and this has been my new mobile solution. I like this product=.

Just bought mine today from the store and was beyond happy. The Bluetooth connection is seamless, the bass is powerful, the sound is fantastic! Couldn’t be happier with this purchase!
