I love the sound quality of the speakers, but I purchased two and they are extremely hard to pair together. Please consider letting is use the aux port for pairing. I don't own the studio 9, but I hope that the pairing is better.

Quality built product with a room filling sound. Plenty of bass in a relatively compact build. Its not a tiny speaker, and it does have some weight, but all of that is by design and done with high quality materials. Great speaker!

Dual Microphone, Design-Free Operation

I purchased this item a month ago and have been totally satisfied with the price, sound, and design. I also own the Onyx 7, but the Onyx 8 has a built-in dual microphone system designed specifically to provide far-field voice clarity for hands-free calls. This allows for clear communication even if you are not standing directly next to the speaker.

It’s ok!!!!

Connecting one speaker is easy and great. But when pairing 2 speakers as surround sounds it doesn’t work to well for me. Always have to reconnect to the tv and then most of the time the speakers sounds muffled and static.

We appreciate your feedback on our HK Onyx Studio 8. To isolate the issue, please try moving the speakers closer to the TV. Make sure the host speaker only connects to one audio source. Next, restart both speakers and audio source. Pair the host speaker to the TV. We also recommend trying other sources to know if it is an issue with the source device. I heard new and diffrent things from songs I love, I couldnt belive the sound that come out of this speaker. Kicking myself for not buying 2. I hook thos thing up to my Nintwnde Switch 2🔥
