I love that the "capture" to take a photo feature on the camera is back. Also that you can do a screenshot without having to push several buttons at one time. However, having to push two buttons together is a pain when you want to try and get the shutdown/power off screen. I usually get the volume control when I try to shut down. Overall, I'm very pleased with the phone.
If you want simplicity and privacy, don't get a samsung.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for reaching out to us, Mia. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on the Galaxy S24+. We see that you have expressed concerns about the simplicity and security of the S24+. The S24+ operates on Samsung's latest One UI 6.1 interface, which is designed to simplify interactions and make the phone easy to navigate. It features a customizable home screen that allows you to tailor widgets, apps, and layouts to your preference, ensuring easy access to the things you use most. The Galaxy S24+ offers seamless integration across Samsung devices, including tablets and wearables, enabling smooth transitions between devices. Features such as Quick Share and Samsung DeX make file transfers and multitasking simple. The Galaxy S24+ is built on Samsung Knox, a multi-layered security platform that protects your data from the chip up. Knox provides real-time protection from malware, hackers, and unauthorized access. From the moment the phone powers on, Knox ensures the software hasn't been tampered with. I have long been a loyal fan of Samsung products for years and the Galaxy S24+ will only reinforce that opinion. It is sleek, stylish and comfortable to use, has a great camera and like the Samsung phones of the past, it is extremely durable. Are there some things about it that I would change? Sure, but mostly these are features from older models that I found practical and useful in the past but no longer exist. I am not a member of Gen Z, or Gen Y, X or W, for that matter, so I tend to get comfortable with a product and don't want to go through a re-learning process when a new model comes out, and Samsung has done pretty well in this regard but I do miss certain things. My all-time favorite phone is the Samsung Galaxy S7 (yes, the one that Ceasar carried when he crossed the Rubicon heading for Rome) but the S24+ is a good third. My prior phone, a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, was wonderful too, but its camera was not anywhere as good as the S24+, which is why I went for the upgrade. The feature that I miss most from the S7 is the tiny light on the upper edge that was normally green but would flash red if you received a message or other notification. If it was on a table, or nightstand, you could glance at it from anywhere and know if you had received a text or email without picking up and opening the phone. Simple but practical and I miss it still. The S24+ has proven to be a great phone and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality phone that they could rely on to provide excellent service well into the future.
Was a little nervous about the size but coming from a galaxy s10 it's perfect! Takes amazing pictures with front and rear camera and they battery last all day !
I was told by a local repair place that it would be better to purchase a new phone instead if repairing the screen on my Galaxy S20+. I decided to go ahead and invest in the Galaxy S24+. I am very pleased with the option of purchasing online and picking up locally. Transferring the majority of my data between devices was quite easy. As with all new tech I am discovering new and upgraded features daily. I am very satisfied so far with my purchase. As for my old S20+. I kept it just for playing games and occasionally surfing the net.
I've always been a note girl, but with it no longer being made got me thinking what's next for me? I wanted to get the ultra just for the stylus pen, but is was a bit too big. I decided to get this s24+ and I absolutely love it! It did no dissapoint at all. Never knew I would love anything else, but the note. I'm in love!
