Very disappointed. The corner of the phone is constantly popping out of the case. The cover for the USB charging port does not close properly and bulges out. I feel I would have been better off with a generic cheeper case.

Mechanical engineer review. This is a typical phone "cover" not a protection case. The cover itself is slick. No screen protector. First thing I did was use a scalpel blade and cut off the charging port cover plug. No need for it and it's a PIA. I'll use this until a better case for the Pixel 9a is available.

It's a case that gets the job done. Huge warning that it's VERY easy for the case to pop off if you grab your phone from the wrong angle. This case isn't my first choice as I typically get from the Rugged line, but it's all I have until they potentially release one later one. If you need something rugged due to the type of environments you're in, pass along for a different case as honestly the price ain't matching.

I bought this case when I recently upgraded to a new phone. I haven't had long with it so I can't describe it much yet, other than it seems sturdy, protects what needs to be protected, and keeps my phone from sliding around, while also being comfortable to hold.
I only needed to buy this case because my old one didn't fit this phone. My previous case lasted me over 5 years (and two phones), withstood being dropped at various angles onto gravel, tile, concrete, and more who knows how many times, including the one time I accidentally dropped my phone all the way down a flight of wooden stairs. The rubber buttons wore almost flat before the first crack appeared in the casing after I dropped it completely vertical onto a concrete floor, and even after that it still protected my phone 95% as well as it always did. This is one of the only brands left that doesn't sell you bad products so you'll have to keep buying from them. It's because of those reasons that this is the only phone case brand I'll trust to protect my phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!
