Have been buying the defender cases for years and have been generally well satisfied. This one is far more flimsy than any previous iteration. In particular the front frame that holds the phone into the back Plastic housing is exceptionally thin and flimsy. Combined with the somewhat thinner than usual rubber overlay, it does not inspire confidence in surviving a significant drop. Comparing this to previous earlier cases which were dropped numerous times onto concrete with absolutely no damage to the case and of course no damage to the phone. I have my doubts about this one. What is surprising is that no one purchases the defender case for style and slimness. You’re buying the case for ruggedness and the absolute highest level of protection. This iteration of the defender doesn’t present itself that way. Makes no sense.L

Otterbox defender series covers have been my choice for years. I actually traded my new phone in for a different model due to no case available for my phone. I am very disappointed in the fit of my new defender case & belt clip. First off if you try to stow the phone into the clip with the screen facing in (as it should be) the phone stays loose & easily detaches. When placed screen out (exposed) it is a struggle to click it in correctly. As stated , been a very satisfied customer for YEARS but this has me rethinking my choice of covers. I hope this review is heard by the company & the problems are corrected as this case has been great on my past phones but has left much to be desired for the Samsung s25ultra.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
