i've always bought HP toner for my printer - it's just got so expensive i thought i would try a cheaper way to go. I saw Staples offers a remanufactured toner cartridge much less than HP brand - I figured since it's coming from Staples and not a no name brand i would try it - and it works great - i saved about $50 - I'm happy with the purchase

Page 1 great 2 okay 3+ unusable

From page 3 on this toner cartridge is entirely unusable. Only the right 15% or so of the printed page is visible. Far worse than the HP toner cartridge I've had in the printer for years. Included photo is of pages 1 and 5 printed by the new cartridge. Printed 10 more copies of a mostly-black image to be sure it wasn't something that just had to be worked through. Each one is slightly worse than the last. Though it has settled on printing the left 1% and right 3% or so of the image leaving the rest of the page blank. Also note "Item not eligible to be returned."

remanufactured toner cartridge

So far so good. I was disappointed that such a big plastic container doesn't recycle for any more than the $2 that tiny cartridges recycle for. But the toner seems to be working well in the remanufactured unit.
