DO NOT BUY this remanufactured Tru Red toner cartridge for your Brother printer because you're not saving much money from buying the real thing and the quality is inconsistent. When I opened the package black toner dust was on the plastic protective cover. Black dust was all over the toner roll and even after cleaning it up the best I could the printed document was HORRIBLE and didn't improve over time. Quality was light and grainy and a solid black line was on the right side and never went away. Local Staples tech said they don't stock these because of the poor consistency of their quality. Stick with the REAL thing!

This is the first time using the remanufactured toner cartridges because Staples didn't have the Brother cartridges available. I guess the ink performance is ok not great.

This works exactly as the original did and was less expensive. The ink has so far behaved well and is not looking like it is working differently. I just do 'office' printing and not artistic or photo's so I do not know how it may work on 'non-standard' materials or layouts.
