I Love It But

I love the way it sews right out the box. I don’t like the cut thread feature on this machine it’s actually wack. But the Machine is smooth. It’s much lighter than the older heavy weight.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got this yesterday and so far so good, there are a lot of features such as the program button, automatic sewing and cutting and knoting and speed control too. A bit pricy but a great investment for those who sew a lot and also the room and space it has, is a plus. It does sew through the layers smoothly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The machine works great. The problem is it does not sew well with upholstery thread. I broke about 15 needles until I figured this out. The other thing I don’t like is the lever that raises and lowers the pressure foot. It is plastic and feels cheap. I wish it was metal like my old machine. Other then that it sews beautifully. I would recommend it to friend. For the cost it is a great buy.

It is bunching thread at the bottom of the fabric no matter how much I adjust it.
Really disappeared at it.

Beautiful machine with a heavy duty feel. Smooth running motor with easy to understand instructions even for a beginner. Got this for my 13yr daughter who creates fur suits and costumes. She loves it. Can easily sew thru thick canvas and thinner leather. Highly recommend this machine to anyone

I've only had this machine for a couple days. But have done tons of sewing on it. So far it has done amazing. I have not had one issue. Everything about it is pretty straight forward. Definitely another great product made by Singer.

Great product for small home projects

Years ago I used my grandma's ancient sewing machine and I've been looking to buy an automatic one for myself for quite some time. I decided to go with Singer HD 6800 after watching online reviews and the manufacturer presentation.
My first observations: ready to go out of the box, easy to use, easy to pick stitches and to change (the menu is intuitive, large display). Very helpful and easy to access features: thread cutting, automatic threading, guide for thread.
Easiness to operate brings great sewing experience!
It takes some practice to pick the best stitch lenght/wight according to fabric, but it's only natural if you are not a pro or have specific personal preferences. (I used old t-shirts for inside of the mask and it was a bit stretchy).
Very happy with the machine and already thinking of my next project!

Hits the bobbin plate

I received this machine as a gift less a couple days ago and ever since I have taken it out of the box the needle hits the bobbin plate. The needle bar tightens the needle way too far back. I have tried countless things to correct it. Very frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
