This is a little larger than my previous Lego projects so I took my time. Now just need to find an appropriate place to display it as my office is running out of space.

Great first adult build

This was the first set that my husband and I have bought for ourselves. It was much fun and more intricate than we were anticipating.
It's really not "playable" because it's fragile, But when you're spending this kind of money I don't really think you're buying it to play with. We just purchased the lighthouse to work on next.

Outstanding Cabins

Those 3 cabins are chock full of everything the Swiss Family Robinson probably wished they had. An amazing level of detail. I've never seen anything like how the plates are put together for the 3 roof units. Tree branches are outstanding. Not so fond of the trunk, but it is really solid--you can grab the model by the trunk and carry it around! I liked the model so much I ordered a lighting kit to go in it. Can't wait to see it lit up!

Amazing set!

Got this set from my family as a 36-years birthday gift. Have built it together with my son (5 years old), one bag each evening before his bedtime for a couple of weeks.
It has been an amazing experience. The set is truly beautiful, and my son got very intrigued by the small secrets like hidden scissors, jewels and the book in the children's room. He loves to play with it, but the set is more of a display piece, as it is a bit fragile in its nature.
Since my birthday was in spring time, my family had ordered a spring outfit for the tree on Pick a brick. It has pink foliage with pink and white flowers. I’m amazed by how beautiful it looks, and have put it at a prime spot in our living room. Guests have commented that it has the same effect as a bouquet of flowers.
We are planning on ordering Halloween and winter/Christmas decorations for it as well, so it becomes a dynamic family project, that will change each season.
Highly recommend this set, as it is both fun to build, and a beautiful feature for your home.

Must get before it retires.

So I actually got this set for my boyfriend and it was our first Lego set to build as a adult. My boyfriend really joyed every second of it besides the instructions. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because he complained that the brown and dark brown were poorly shown on the steps. so he had a hard time completing the dark parts.
I would recommend this to a friend!
