Gorgeous Treehouse - Very Frustrating Build

I have been putting together advanced sets for many years and this one was the most frustrating. As I was building the trunk brown on brown it was so frustrating I had to walk away and come back to finish. Not having the red lines drawn around the pieces in the manual was a huge mistake. It made it very difficult to put together. I spent a long time trying to figure out where the pieces went and had to do a lot of rebuilding when they did not go together properly. I also noticed that this set came with pieces more cheaply made. Not as think or sturdy as past sets. More lifting of pieces once placed. I did a combination of both sets of leaves for a more full and colored look using many more leaves than what it asked for thus having less left over pieces. Once finished the set looks really nice and I am happy with the accomplishment. I would only recommend this set to those with infinite patience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for your review. We're sorry to hear you had a frustrating time with the set. Our parts are the same as always - if you see them lifting once placed, that's probably a sign that something's a little out of alignment. That can happen if a part is out of place or if some parts aren't pressed tightly enough together. Some rebuilding should do the trick.

An amazing set!

This set got my eye since it was released. It's WAY BIGGER than I anticipated. It's very detailed and sturdy. I was surprised when I saw all the 107 spare pieces (excluding the other set of leaves). I personally prefer the treehouse with the spring/summer leaves. It's a very nice set.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was a joy to build and look at. The extra autumn leaves are a nice touch but I will never bother to switch. The details in each hut are great. The Easter Egg is fun. My only complaint would be that the instructions are too repetitive. It would be a much more efficient build if the instructions were "4X of this" instead of repeating the instructions four times with slight cosmetic alterations being the difference. Unless you are constrained to match the pic on the box, you can easily add knots and imperfections to the branches as you see fit.

Wrong brick.

I am on bag 13 but had a problem with bag 12. They gave me the wrong brick but I had a box of LEGOS and found the right one. Other than that it’s one of the greatest legos ever.

Fun, beautiful set.

My 5 year-old got this as a gift for Christmas 2019 from his Grandma. Yay for me!!! After a lot of starting and stopping, we finally finished (April 8!). Lots of smaller details that I took care of, but for a clever, younger builder who can follow the instructions, plenty of bigger piece sections they can do on their own with supervision.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When I bought this, I didn't think that it would too great . . . I was wrong. I am very impressed with the way everything fits together. Don't get me wrong . . . I didn't say that it is easily, because there are some very challenging steps. One of the harder parts is the that many of the pieces are of similar color so you really need to pay attention to the instructions. I have not finished it (a little over half way done), but work a little every day. That is another thing that I like about this project, Unlike in the past, the number bags really correspond with the instructions . . . a lot less of grouping the elements and colors. Don't pass this one by as it is very cool.

I’m really amazed how sturdy they made the tree. But be careful with the rooms because they easily fall off, I wish they have better support. In all honesty, I love this set! I Even made our family adventure park. ❤️
