[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is very expensive and very complicated and I don’t like the taste of the coffee that comes out of it. I have tried Different types of coffee beans but I’m just not happy with the product. I ended up giving it to my niece and I bought a much less expensive ninja that makes a great cup of coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this machine because it consistently makes really good coffee drinks. Once you get the configuration set to the way you like your coffee it needs nothing more than occasional cleaning and refilling the hopper and water.

The coffee grounds bin light indicates the bin is full even though it is empty. I would expext better from such an expensive machine.

Don't buy it save your money it is not worth the

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I regret buying this machine , the coffee is always watery, the frothing is barely enough , the temperature is not hot enough although I set it to the max allowed, and the size of cups(at least for capuccino) are ridiculous small, I have another coffee espresso machine for a fraction of the price and does a better coffee, the only good thing of the 2200 phillips is that is easy to clean

It measures and grinds the beans, lets me know when water level is low or the grinds need removal, lets me pick the strength and espresso vs. coffee or hot water. I can get other things done and know the morning lattes will be perfect.

The machine does occasionally refuses to make coffee. Goes through the motions, but doesn’t dispense. Unplugging seems to rest things. Bit of a pain, first world problem

Also a fantastic milk foaming apparatus that does require foaming a whole amount but just what is needed for the cappuccino. Also the hot water is dispensed and does not taste like coffee when making a tea. I am very pleased and impressed.
