We had a Saeco for 14 years, which we enjoyed using. Needed to be replaced and we just decided to stick with what we liked. Looked at others options only very briefly. we have not been disappointed.

Simple, easy, delicious

[Employee of philipsglobal] First, I have a small kitchen with limited counter space. While being completely comprehensive--grinding, brewing, water, etc--this machine is still compact and fits easily in my small space. I leave it out on the counter top and have had no issues with space. Next, the machine is so easy to use, works seamlessly, and produces delicious coffee, espresso, or steamed milk every time. I used to manually make coffee every day, and I've not gone to a coffee shop or made coffee manually since I purchased this machine. The adjustable spout is wonderful for different sized cups. I am very satisfied with my machine and would absolutely recommend.

Turns off too soon

I love the coffee and Americano settings for this machine. Great coffee! The bad part is that it shuts off before I can finish my first cup of coffee (which is gone usually in about 15 minutes). This I can not find a setting or way to change the power off time. By shutting down so soon it waste water by going through the rinse cycle twice. Once when it shuts down and again when I have to restart the machine.

Straight out of the box the 2200 Series is simple to set-up, with an intuitive user interface that makes it super easy to customize the size, strength and temperature of your coffee. I have to say...the coffee is just as good as (same as) prior and much more expensive fully automatics I have owned. While a small thing, the water tank is easily accessible with a transparent panel, so you’ll always know when to add water. The design also makes it easy to access and clean the dreg drawer. For the price, this is a great value.

Great Coffee and Solid Build!

This machine produces an espresso that is bold, flavorful and a pleasure to drink. The coffee is on par with more expensive machines and at this price point I think you won't be dissappointed. The water vessel is large and doesn't need to be replaced all the time like with other machines this size. The instructions are clear and the coffee is easily customizable. Easy to clean, easy to use and affordable. I would definitely purchase again.
