Would not recommend. We have called Nespresso with issues with our coffee maker more than I can count. Our machine finally gave out on us right as our warranty expired so we are going with the original vertuo. Save your time and don't buy this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased my first Nespresso and love how compact the machine is but how robust the coffee is. I just love the richness of the coffee. So easy to add water and also love that I can easily recycle the pods with the free return envelope!

Love my machines

I see so many reviews that are low and need to add something positive. I am on my 3 machines, started with the original, Citiz and then moved to the Vertuo Chrome and now own the Vertuo Next. All my mechanics are still going with regular use. I moved the Citiz to the office and gave my first Vertuo to my mom. I now use the Next every day, I clean and descale regularly, and use only filtered water. I hope more long-time users add comments to bring up the rating. I have been a Nespresso customer for more than a decade.

Best coffee machine I ever!

I’m a huge fan of lattes and the Nespresso Vertuo by Breville knows how to do it!
Every coffee pod presses an immaculate cup with frothy creama.
I used to by latte from our local cafe which adds up quickly. Now, I enjoy the experience and value of making my own at home.
