These are generally a decent set of earmuffs, but I do not recommend for medium/heavy duty work. Down stars for not quite meeting the mark on 1) sound dampening, 2) volume, and 3) weight: 1) I can still hear a fair amount through the muffs - I've worn plenty of ear protection that is quite a bit more effective (I don't use ANC, so I'm not comparing technologies). 2) They simply don't get very loud. This coupled with lack of sound protection - means that I can't use the speakers/bluetooth features for music while mowing on a regular lawn mower (which was the SOLE purpose in buying this to begin with). 3) For having skimped on the power in the speakers, and the sound insulation in the muffs, they are surprisingly heavy. Not heavier than like a hardhat - but after half an hour or so, I can tell I've had a weight bearing down on my neck muscles.
Overall, while I haven't looked around, I'm sure for only a few bucks more, I could find more effective passive ear muffs (I even have some that are Walker's brand!), that are loud enough to hear speakers while mowing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent for yardwork

My brother gifted this to me Christmas 2020. I really enjoy using these muff for yard work and woodworking. The controls work great, microphone works well, and very comfortable. I personally use Panasonic eneloop pro rechargeable batteries so I am always ready to go. Honestly prefer that these use batteries. Highly recommended.

It can use 4 hours everyday during 6 or 7 days. I usually use it 2 hours during the morning and other 2 hours in the evening. Start from Monday and change the battery on Saturday late midnight or Sunday afternoon.
One thing I have to say, I recommend avoiding use the Duracell deluxe Alkaline battery for it. When it has been used other batteries, for example, Energizer, PB brand, other local brand does not have any problem. However, only Duracell deluxe has problem. It is leaked by over H gas and made inside battery cage mess with white dust.
To use it longer, Ni-MH battery is suggested.
