The gazebo turned out better than I envisioned. I went with the hard top this time as our previous SunJoy Gazebo had a canvas top and the squirrels each year would shred it to make their nest. I finally decided enough was enough and went with the larger one with the steel roof. I am so very pleased and everyone that has seen it has said how beautiful it is.

Our gazebo went together fairly well. You really have to pay attention to the assembly sequence and the specific hardware for each step. The sheet metal surfaces get scratched pretty easily and no touch up paint is provided. The anchors provided were long nails. Ours is erected on a concrete patio so I got expansion anchors for ours.

I will start by clarifying in most cases you get what you pay for. In this case I am pleased to say, the quality at this price range is outstanding. I am impressed with how well it went together too. The instructions were clear and it is shipped with extra hardware. I assembled this whole Gazebo by myself in roughly 8 hours. That being said, an extra set of hands would be nice. I gave this product 4 starts. It is great in so many ways but the few issues I have are that because it's aluminum with a wood grain look, it will scratch very easily exposing the metal underneath. Secondly, the planter boxes are deep and hard to use. Trying to find an insert that fits is proving to be difficult.

Beautiful wood grain aluminum gazebo with planters

Our gazebo was shipped fast and was packaged very well. There was no damage during the shipping process and when we opened the two large boxes, we were amazed that each item was individually wrapped. The hardware was also packaged and labeled well which made installing easy, they also included a few extra screws & bolts of each style. This gazebo is well engineered, and all the holes lined up throughout the whole project. Two friends and I had the basic framing up in less than 2 hours. Then the next afternoon we put up the framework for the roofing material. We installed all the roofing panels and made some minor adjustments the next weekend which only took a few hours. We were all very impressed with the way all the holes aligned up makes things so easy and rewarding at the end. Overall, we are extremely happy with the style, quality and engineering of this gazebo. My only advice is that the instructions are picture only, so take your time to look and analyze how things go together before jumping in. Many of the parts are similar but different enough that things won't line up right if you grab the wrong parts.

Best Money Spent this Year- So many Complements!

Bought after our soft top gazebo was destroyed by the elements and wanted something sturdy that would really accent our backyard. Fell in love with this as soon as I saw it. Our backyard is full of plants and I am an avid backyard hostess- so this fit right in. Best money spent this year!!! We have received so many complements and I absolutely love it.
