Keeps it cold!

Died after three years

I bought this chest freezer just over three years ago. Everyone said chest freezers are workhorses that last forever; unfortunately, this was not my experience. I don't know whether I got a dud or if there's a problem with this model. The repair place I use can't even find the model number in their resources. This worked fine until it didn't. I'm surprised and disappointed. The value of food I lost is probably greater than what I spent on the freezer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for storing breastmilk

We bought this several months ago to store breastmilk long term. It hasn't kept it well frozen without any issues & even kept it frozen for awhile during hurricane Erma. Us and our baby are very thankful

This freezer can not maintain a stable temperature, it fluctuates between minus 10 and minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit. The FDA and freezer manufacturers recommend a temperature between 0 and 4 degrees Fahrenheit. I really wanted to like this freezer, but I know it is ruining my food, and I can't possibly trust the reliability of the product. I will never buy this brand again.

Less than a year and already dead

I bought this less than a year ago. Went to open it today and everything I had in there was ruined. Power light was on and compressor was hot. Freezer won't turn on at all now but light stays on
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Almost there

I have found almost all appliances are of comparable low quality. Seal on door is sometimes loose. depends on how it its closed. How had would it be to add another basket?
