Perfect size

Bought this in the fall of 2015, so far so good. Haven't had it threw the summer yet to see how it does in our garage. Hope it will be fine, our garage is heavily insulated and stays a bit cooler than out side temps. Have noticed a small amount of frost building up on upper middle part of back wall of freezer, but can live with it as long as it doesn't get any worse. So far it's just the right size for the overflow we have. I freeze a lot of veggies in the summer & the venison my Husband & Daughter get in the fall. Plenty of room for our needs so far. Very quiet running & love the light it has on the outside so I can tell it's still running at a glance.

Nice freezer.

I bought this freezer to replace an old one. We buy local beef in bulk, and we needed a place to store it. This freezer is compact, quiet, and has plenty of space. So far I'm very happy with this freezer. My only concern would be there's already a decent frost build up on one side near the door.

Lid does not seal and ice builds up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this freezer replaced and this one does the same thing but not quite as bad as the first one. The lid does not seal and in the one corner ice is building up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this chest freezer a few months ago from Spencer's. We have always had an upright, but, after 30 years, our Frigidaire upright stopped working. Since our family has reduced in size, we decided that a chest freezer would work. It works great, is very quiet and just right for us. The price was right, too.
