Nice sturdy chairs, lots of cosmetic imperfections

Overall, I found these chairs to be a good value for the price. They are very sturdy and comfortable for being wooden, and I appreciate their affordable price point. However, I was disappointed to find several chips in the wood and other blemishes upon closer inspection. This detracts from the overall aesthetic and makes the chairs look less polished.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I ordered these 2 chairs in the dark walnut finish to go with 2 other "vintage" style chairs, that someone hand painted some flowers on. This style was so similar to the style of these same chairs and replaced 2 other chairs that were not stable and did not fit the style. They are very sturdy and were packaged pretty good. One of the chairs had a rough edge on the back of it on the edge and also a rough edge on one of the legs. I will take a bit of sandpaper and then a bit of dark stain to touch up. It's not concerning and not easily noticed. These chairs will outlast me and anything else in my home, they are so well made.
