Very Nice Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I received this vacuum via the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My first impression was that it was super easy to set up. I don't think it took more then 3 minutes to get everything out of the box and put together. The pieces snap in place and are very secure. It is also easy to disassemble/change out accessories and empty the collection tube. Speaking iof accessories, I really love the attachments that come with it. I have used them to get into small or hard to reach places, like down in the couches or to go along the baseboard. I also appreciate how this cordless vacuum is super portable and allows me to easily clean out my car whenever my kids make messes in the back seats. That is by far my favorite perk of the cordless vacuum. I don't have to drive around in a crumb filled car until I have time to stop to the car wash to do a clean up. Now I can maintain a decent looking car more often because is so easy to just pick up the vacuum, snap in the right attachments, and go out to my car. Additional pros are that the battery life is great, this vacuum picks up very well, and the led display/buttons are pretty cool. Now on to the cons. I really only have one. I do feel like this vacuum did not have the smoothest movement when pushing it over the hardwood floors and carpet. I've used one other cordless vacuum before and while this one surpasses the other one in every other category, I did notice it wasn't as smooth of a glide when pushing this over my floors. I don't think it would be noticeable to most people but I figured I'd be completely honest about my experience. It's definitely not a deal breaker as this thing works well and as I said, picks up dirt, dust, crumbs, glitter, etc. Overall, I am super pleased with this vacuum and due to it being so compact, lightweight, and convenient, I find myself using it everyday.

Not as nice as I thought it would be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell PowerLifter Turbo stick vacuum as part of the Stellar testing panel. At first, I really loved this thing! It is very powerful and my favorite part is the light on the front so you can really see dirt and dust on the ground, especially hard floors. The weight of the vacuum is pretty good too; it's very easy to push around and somewhat easy to hold up and get sides of walls and ceilings. It also disassembles into several parts, making it super easy to use in the car. The major issues with this vacuum, the reasons I took off 3 stars, is because the battery life on this thing is terrible. I mean like it is pretty much unusable kind of terrible. It would take more than an hour to charge up the battery and it would last about 15-20 minutes. When I vacuum, I generally like to get it done within a reasonable amount of time, not have to constantly keep stopping to charge the battery. I understand it not being for large rooms or full houses, but it needs to last longer. I would sacrifice some of the lightness for a larger battery. The other reason I took off stars is because of the filter/dust tank set up. I probably dumped the tank onto the ground at least 5 times while testing the vacuum, which isn't fun when you're vacuuming in a rush so the battery doesn't die for the 100th time. The tank being fairly small and the filter being what it is, I would need to dump it every couple of minutes and that is definitely too often. So overall, 2 stars are taken for the battery life and 1 star is taken for the dust tank. This vacuum seemed so perfect for my situation when I first unpacked it but after extensive use, I found it all bells and no whistle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sleek & Convenient

I was very impressed with this product and how much it was able to pick up from carpet to vinyl floors to your car seats. I like that you can utilize between the different tools. The battery life is why I gave it a four star as I did use it on level 3. I noticed when going from a hard service to a rug it would shut off but it didn't do this all the time. I liked the ease of taking it apart & having the directions show me how to clean it/charge it. Love the sleekness/color and how easy it to use & how it all comes apart to put in a neat area. Always love Bissell products. I definitely recommend buying this. You quickly realize how much dirt/hair/particles it picks up when you go to dump it out. The sound is not loud as it has three levels of strength to it. I used the smaller parts for areas I couldn't get & I was amazed.

Quality vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cleanview XR PowerLifter Turbo has been a welcome addition in our house! The suction on this vacuum is excellent and the three power modes are helpful for transitioning from the simple everyday jobs to the heavier, weekly rug cleanup in our upstairs areas. In comparison to our other off-brand stick vacuum, this one definitely stands out; in particular, I love how much easier it is to empty the dirt canister. It's also much more useful on our long shag rug! I do wish the height was adjustable, but even at my 5'1" stature it's still easy enough to maneuver and nowhere near a deal-breaker. Overall, this feels like a well-made vacuum that has left this mom of four kids and two cats satisfied. We will enjoy using it for a long time. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this product!

Pretty good suction for a cordless vac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I'm impressed with the suction and cleaning power of this cordless vac. The construction feels very solid, and while it is a bit top heavy with the battery pack, it remained surprisingly maneuverable. Attachments helped to reach areas where the floor vac couldn't go. We have a dog and kids, so there is always plenty to clean up. The vac did well with hair, though I did need to empty and clean off the filter during cleaning to retain the same level of suction. There was a noticeable difference between using this and our other vacuum, which is also a cordless vac, on both our vinyl flooring and area rugs. The suction was so powerful that it was too much to clean the mat that we wipe our feet on by the door. Compared to our previous cordless vac, it definitely has better suction power, and fewer crevices that get gunked up. It also felt more substantial (material), and while maybe a little heavier, it was more maneuverable. It's also far better in getting the dog hair vacuumed up, even though our other vacuum was also specifically rated for pets. This model doesn't come with the wall mount or storage. It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure that out, since the instructions show those accessories. We don't have a broom closet, so the wall mount is really helpful for storing the vacuum while charging, and keeping the accessories in place. Now we've had the battery charger on the floor and accessories on a bookcase, so it feels more cluttered. The battery also seems like it takes a very long time to charge. A few times I've run out of battery power pretty quickly, while other times it lasted longer. The trigger push for on/off is easy to use, but there is no way to lock it while using, so every now and then I accidentally turned it off while using it. Not a big deal. Overall it's a really solid vacuum that is performing well for us in our home. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Quick Cleaner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the PowerLifter Turbo as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This vacuum is wonderful for quick-mess cleaning. It is lightweight, quiet, slender, and can maneuver into tighter places or under furniture easily. I love that it fits nicely in my pantry for quick access after my toddlers eat a snack or have a meal. It's perfect for cleaning under their chairs and table to keep the dining area clean. This vacuum can easily go from hard floor to carpet. It has three suction settings of which I use the lowest or medium on hard floors and the highest on carpet. It does not clean as thoroughly as my plug-in vacuum does, but that is what I expected with a cordless vacuum. Dumping the dustpan of the vacuum is simple and I make sure to keep that up after each use to maintain its suction. It comes with a handful of attachments and can be shortened from a taller stick vacuum to a handheld vacuum perfect for cleaning stairs. I use the different attachments for crevices, furniture, car seat cleaning, and more. Some things that are a bit of a drawback to me are that I need to charge the battery after every use and it takes a long time for the battery to fully charge. Another is that it does not stand-free securely and can easily topple over. I usually make sure to prop it against a chair if I need to move stuff around to clean. Again, I use this more for a maintaining clean around the house instead of a deep clean, but it does what I want it to do perfectly! Definitely recommend someone getting this for quick and easy cleaning.

Vacuuming is no longer a chore!

I definitely recommend buying this cordless vacuum as it is so lightweight and easy to use. It makes cleaning so much faster as there is no cord to unwrap and wrap back up, no need to change outlets, no bending over to clean out the canister and no breaking a sweat when vacuuming stairs. The vacuum is low noise, has three power options, has a light, is easily maneuverable, comes with additional cleaning tools and can convert to a hand vacuum. But the best part is the detachable battery! No need to charge the actual vacuum just the battery! I really love this vacuum.

I've never tried a stick vacuum before, so I wasn't sure what to expect exactly, though I thought the suction might not be as great as a traditional corded vacuum. However, this vacuum surprised me as it has excellent suction! I've tried it on hardwood and carpet, baseboards, carpeted stairs and it's done a wonderful job with every task I've used it for. It has 3 suction settings, which is nice as I don't need as high of a setting for hardwood as I do for carpet, which conserves battery power. It's also fairly quiet, which means I can get some cleaning done even after the kids have gone to bed. I immediately recommended this vacuum to my mom because of it's lightweight design and maneuverability. It is able to get into smaller spaces, like under the table, behind furniture etc and with all the additional tools, I get the job done with one vacuum instead of needing a bunch of items. I was able to do a quick cleaning of my entire downstairs or upstairs level with one charge (about 40 minutes). The different tools make any clean up job a breeze, from the small tip, to the upholstery/large opening piece, they all swap out easily and mean I get any necessary cleaning done while using the vacuum instead of needing to grab a different piece of equipment. I love the ability to use it as a handheld vacuum or as a typical handheld vacuum with the stick attachment. It means I can do the same work with a lot less bending over! The traditional vacuum head has an easy to remove roller, which is great for long hairs that would normally get trapped and keep the roller from running smoothly. While we're on the subject of cleaning the vacuum itself, it's easier than any vacuum I've ever owned. The canister has a release button and the metal filter wipes clean of dust and dirt with very little effort. The dirt canister also opens at either end for easy disposal to be on your way cleaning again!
