Lightweight but Mighty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for gifting me with this stick vacuum. The vacuum was received at the perfect time as I was recovering from knee surgery. This PowerLifter Turbo vacuum was easy to use and great for around the house with 2 little boys. The vacuum exceeded my expectations due to the wonderful cleaning performance. I used the vacuum to clean up daily food messes, vacuum the entry rug, and get a few spider webs off the ceiling. The vacuum is very light weight and easy to move around, which was perfect for post recovery, and allowed me to vacuum the stairs with ease. There are several attachments with the vacuum, which I used to clean out my son's shoes and the stairs. Also, I have really long hair and shed like a dog so I am surprised minimal hair is wrapped around the vacuum head, which has been an issue in the past with other vacuums. I can see majority of the hair in the dirt collector, which I have never seen before in other stick vacuums. The vacuum is quieter than I expected and I was able to vacuum the entry rug after my kids went to bed. As far as suction, I was able to vacuum between low pile rug to hardwood floor to carpet with ease and I didn't need to adjust the power levels. I was surprised that a stick vacuum could handle the change in floors better than my corded vacuum. My favorite feature is the battery charger compared to my old stick vacuum that plugged into the motor. I was tired of plugging in my old vacuum and tripping over it as it charged on the floor. I love that I can put the vacuum away and remove the battery to charge on the counter. This stick vacuum has allowed me to keep up with household needs and I would highly recommend it to friends and family. It would be a perfect gift for an aging parent due to the lightweight yet powerful suction.

Great cordless vacuum for my busy household!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keeping up with a busy homestead lifestyle with 5 kids and multiple animals in tow can be a lot-keeping our home clean in the midst of it all can be near impossible! Like any other job site, good quality tools make all the difference when it comes to maintaining a clean home. The Bissel Powerlifter Turbo is the right tool for the job! This lightweight, yet powerful cordless vacuum is on duty daily in my high traffic mudroom and other living spaces. The suction makes quick work of dirt and debris and the fluid maneuverability and lights help get to all the dirty places. I appreciate the 3 power mode options to customize for different levels of mess and cleaning out the vacuum is a breeze. This vacuum will be getting plenty of repeat performances in my house! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stick vacuum.

Decent stick vacuum with room for improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three stick vacuums now. They're essential in my household of 2 kids and 3 dogs. Compared to my other 2 stick vacuums, this Bissell PowerLifter Turbo is decent. The suction was fairly strong, definitely strong enough for hard floors, but had trouble on my rugs. The two included tools were very easy to switch out and were very helpful when cleaning my wood stairs and car seats. The best part of the PowerLifter is that it's cordless, making it easy and convenient to use in both those areas. As for the noise level, I found that it was about the same as the other cordless stick vacuums I've used. Now for the cons: This particular model does not come with a wall mount/docking station. Stick vacuums don't stand on their own as they're top heavy, so I tried to leave it leaning in the corner, but it would always slip down, so in the end, I had to leave it on the floor, which takes up so much room. Also, without a docking station, the charging cord just hangs there, or would need to be pulled out each time (and every time I store it is a chance for me to lose it). I understand that this is one of the lower tier bundles, but I really think the mount/docking station should be standard. Next, the floor attachment. While the suction was pretty good, the height was not. I'm only 5'3", but even I found myself having to bend over more than I wanted to, and therefore, my husband never wanted to use this because he would be really hunched over. Yet, at the same time, the length was annoying because I took up most of my storage closet on the ground. If only it was able to expand and collapse, I think that would have made this more enjoyable to use. Overall, I did like this vacuum. It being cordless was very convenient and the suction power was adequate for most of our usage. However, there is definitely much room for improvement before it becomes one of our favored stick vacuums. I received this stick vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Good daily touch up vacuum

It's lightweight, super duper easy to maneuver and push, insanely easy to empty the dirt chamber and it has a light! I liked this fester for dark corners especially. As far as cordless vacuums go, I think it was comparable to some others I've tried over the years. The suction is not overly strong but it gets the job done. I did not bother using it on the first 2 settings as it didn't pick up the pet hair easily enough. So I use it on the highest setting and that's when it shines. We have 1 dog and 1 cat, and 7 children. There is plenty of hair and dirt and crumbs! This thing was an excellent daily spot cleaner. I don't feel like it vacuums carpet as well, but for hard floors it's really pretty awesome and helping to maintain a clean floor! I really loved that it's light enough for anyone in the house to push, and doesn't hurt to hold after a while either. And, it's super quiet for a vacuum. Not an annoying loud vacuum, which helps when you have resting toddlers or a scared dog! As far as my negatives: the battery charge didn't last long enough for my needs. I could only get 1/2 or 1/3 if my house truly vacuumed before having to re charge it. The battery is super easy to remove and charge though. I just wish it lasted longer. Also, it has no way of standing up. If you prop it, it will likely fall right over (it did) because of it being top heavy. So, I wish there was a way to prop it up safely without risking it falling on something or falling and breaking. And lastly I wish the suction was just a tad stronger. Initially I called it a glorified duster but it really is a decent lightweight vacuum. I would not suggest this being your sole vacuum though, unless you have no pets, no kids and only hard floors. But I love it for my daily touch up cleaner! I was very pleased to have had the opportunity to test this vacuum for the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and overall I'm 4/5 star satisfied with it!

Great for families with small children and pets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this stick vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I couldn't be more thankful. In our busy household, we are constantly chasing the mess of three girls under 10 and one very furry dog. With limited time to give our home the thorough clean it needs, we rely on quality cleaning products that can perform on both hardwood and carpeted areas. This vacuum met our standards and beyond. Initially, I was worried that given its lightweight design and smaller size compared to our other cleaner, it would not have the power necessary to get the job done. To our pleasant surprise, I couldn't have been more wrong. Not only was the suction impressive (decreasing our cleaning time), but the lightweight and flexible maneuverability made it easy for the kids to help as well. An added bonus surprise was that this machine is incredibly quiet, allowing us to vacuum after hours without worrying over waking the children. The true testament of this vacuum's capability was witnessed in its ability to remove the stubborn dog hair from our car's upholstery. Typically, I have to invest quite a bit of time and money to detail our car. In a matter of 10 minutes, I was able to remove the majority of our dog's wiry shed from the passenger seats and crumbs from our toddler's road trip snack. Overall, I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone who has pets and small children at home who is looking to spend more time playing and less time cleaning.

Handy for quick cleanups, amazing for area rugs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stick vac has turned out to be the best tool I have found for area rugs. It's great for dirt, grit, and dog hair! I also love it for my carpeted stairs. It's light and convenient to use for quick cleanups. Even my 5 year old can handle it (& loves to do the kitchen floor! Yay!). Battery life, noise, and suction power are all acceptable but not spectacular. I do wish it did edges a bit better. Overall this is a handy, convenient, and easy cleaning tool. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing this vacuum.

Not quite there...

So here's the thing: I love the idea of this vacuum and it has some great features, but it did not meet my expectations. Some positives- very strong suction. Which is great unless you have a rug (that isn't attached to the floor) because it literally picks up the rug while vacuuming. That said, works great on hardwood and carpet. Other big positives-Super easy to clean (and set up in general was a breeze). I love the portability, battery life and the quiet output. In terms of maneuverability, it was awkward making turns and I had to reverse to get it to go where I wanted it to. Other negatives: the heavy battery is located at the very top where you hold the vacuum and it can tire out your wrist if you are doing more than a quick (couple minute) cleanup. I like it, I don't love it enough to recommend to a friend.

My New Best Friend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing panel and overall I'd say it's light, nimble, and super efficient. We have a mix of hard woods and carpets throughout the house and with a dog, two kids, lots of home cooking (aka crumbs), and friends in and out of the house, our floors get dirty quickly and I HATE dirty floors. Despite the fact that we run a robot vacuum in the mornings, I'm constantly sweeping throughout the day to keep things tidy. This stick vac has made my life so much easier! We parked it in the kitchen and found ourselves using it multiple times throughout the day to pick up crumbs and dirt. It's lightweight, incredibly nimble, easy to use, and gets the job done in seconds. It's even a little fun to use -- just pull the trigger and suck up the dirt. Very satisfying. I've never said that about my traditional broom. Even my kids enjoyed using it, which feels like a small miracle unto itself. They actually vacuumed their rooms without me asking! The attachments are easy to put on/take off so you can really get into the corners. The vac has three power modes. I never found a need for the lowest setting but it was nice to have a little extra boost when I ran it over heavier carpets. It's pretty quiet and the suction power gets the job done. I wouldn't use it for big jobs, but it makes the smaller jobs a breeze. The battery life is decent and recharging is easy. With this stick vac in my house, I'm not sure I'll ever use my traditional broom again (hallelujah!). The only reason I'm giving this a 4 vs. a 5 is that I wish it had a way to carry the crevice tool on the actual vac so I could swap out the suction head on the spot versus going back to where I store the vac. That said, we use it multiple times a day and I think it's a GREAT product.
