Perfect for small messes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this stick vacuum to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Honestly it works well for small messes, and is perfect for my kids to clean up crumbs from cookies or popcorn on the furniture with the attachments. The battery lasts as long as a typical battery vacuum, and with a smaller head I wouldn't say it replaces my regular vacuum for whole house cleaning. But the smaller head does come in handy for hard to get into places, and combined with the long handle it is perfect for getting under the bed. I wish it came with the docking station so it could be stored on the wall instead of leaning in a corner. Other than that it's been good so far.

Great cordless vacuum for my busy household!

Like any other job site, good quality tools make all the difference when it comes to maintaining a clean home. The Bissel Powerlifter Turbo is the right tool for the job! This lightweight, yet powerful cordless vacuum is on duty daily in my high traffic mudroom and other living spaces. The suction makes quick work of dirt and debris and the fluid maneuverability and lights help get to all the dirty places. I appreciate the 3 power mode options to customize for different levels of mess and cleaning out the vacuum is a breeze. This vacuum will be getting plenty of repeat performances in my house! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stick vacuum.

Almost perfect!!!!

My family has been using this every single day since it's arrived. We absolutely love how lightweight and so easy to maneuver around. The brush roll at the bottom of the vacuum is short enough to fit under our tv entertainment center and other furniture items so easily compared to other bulky ends. I especially love the light feature as we have 2 young children under 5 and 3 full size dogs so it's easy to see the crumbs or fur anywhere! I'm almost vacuuming in the dark just to find every little speck! LOL I do love the versatility of a hand vacuum and stick in hard to reach areas. Cordless is a GAMECHANGER. We've only ever had corded and we're positive we won't go back. The dealbreaker before was always price point. This vacuum is so easy to take apart and keep track of the extra pieces they gave us, the angled suction and scrub brush. The suctioning is so much better compared to a normal hand vacuum. We don't mind that the battery run time is about 40 minutes or so and we always have the suction level on 2 since we think that's the most efficient. If you use level 3 the battery life is significantly shorter. My only hiccup with this whole vacuum is about a week in I myself broke a glass bottle and needed to clean up the remaining small pieces and decided to try out this vacuum to see if it would do the job. Unfortunately after doing so my vacuum now makes a high pitched screeching when using it now. So it does not have a low noise that it claimed in the beginning. I honestly can't remember what it used to sound like before this screeching. I contacted customer service and they said to try to clean out all the specific parts after taking it apart but it didn't seem to work. I have yet to hear back about a replacement or on what to do next. That's a bit of a bummer because even my husband loves this vacuum just the high pitch screech is a bit much. I still continue to use it.

Great Vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed when I opened the vacuum right out of the box. It has a great design and it was super easy to figure out and put together. When I first turned it on, I was impressed with how quiet it is. That's not something I would have thought I wanted in a vacuum, but it's a huge plus for me. The suction is great and I didn't have any problems. I own two dogs and one cat so I have a lot of hair. Unfortunately, I need to empty the canister often but I didn't find that to be a problem. It's incredibly fast and easy to empty. The roller on the bottom, that always gets tangled with hair, is able to be pulled out to clean. I tend to always have problems with tangled hair ruining the roller, so now I no longer need to worry about that! It's a quick fix. I also like the light. It made it so much easier to spot hair and dirt in dimmer areas, like under the table. The only thing that disappointed me was the battery. I love that I'm able to remove the battery and charge it, however, the battery does not last long. I tried the vacuum at full power and it only lasted 15 minutes. At medium power, it lasted 23 minutes. The low power is closer to lasting the 40 minutes as advertised but won't pick up as well. I'd highly suggest getting an extra battery. Another downfall was when I was vacuuming the rug. I needed to keep it at the lowest power so it wouldn't create too much suction. If it did, the vacuum would automatically shut off. Even at the lowest power it still did but not as often. I didn't have any problems with regular carpet. In all, I really like this vacuum. It was a great design and works really well for being cordless. It exceeded my expectations, even compared to a more well known, high-priced, vacuum brand. Decent stick vacuum with room for improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three stick vacuums now. They're essential in my household of 2 kids and 3 dogs. Compared to my other 2 stick vacuums, this Bissell PowerLifter Turbo is decent. The suction was fairly strong, definitely strong enough for hard floors, but had trouble on my rugs. The two included tools were very easy to switch out and were very helpful when cleaning my wood stairs and car seats. The best part of the PowerLifter is that it's cordless, making it easy and convenient to use in both those areas. As for the noise level, I found that it was about the same as the other cordless stick vacuums I've used. Now for the cons: This particular model does not come with a wall mount/docking station. Stick vacuums don't stand on their own as they're top heavy, so I tried to leave it leaning in the corner, but it would always slip down, so in the end, I had to leave it on the floor, which takes up so much room. Also, without a docking station, the charging cord just hangs there, or would need to be pulled out each time (and every time I store it is a chance for me to lose it). I understand that this is one of the lower tier bundles, but I really think the mount/docking station should be standard. Next, the floor attachment. While the suction was pretty good, the height was not. I'm only 5'3", but even I found myself having to bend over more than I wanted to, and therefore, my husband never wanted to use this because he would be really hunched over. Yet, at the same time, the length was annoying because I took up most of my storage closet on the ground. If only it was able to expand and collapse, I think that would have made this more enjoyable to use. Overall, I did like this vacuum. It being cordless was very convenient and the suction power was adequate for most of our usage. However, there is definitely much room for improvement before it becomes one of our favored stick vacuums. I received this stick vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Lightweight but Mighty

The vacuum was received at the perfect time as I was recovering from knee surgery. This PowerLifter Turbo vacuum was easy to use and great for around the house with 2 little boys. The vacuum exceeded my expectations due to the wonderful cleaning performance. I used the vacuum to clean up daily food messes, vacuum the entry rug, and get a few spider webs off the ceiling. The vacuum is very light weight and easy to move around, which was perfect for post recovery, and allowed me to vacuum the stairs with ease. There are several attachments with the vacuum, which I used to clean out my son's shoes and the stairs. Also, I have really long hair and shed like a dog so I am surprised minimal hair is wrapped around the vacuum head, which has been an issue in the past with other vacuums. I can see majority of the hair in the dirt collector, which I have never seen before in other stick vacuums. The vacuum is quieter than I expected and I was able to vacuum the entry rug after my kids went to bed. As far as suction, I was able to vacuum between low pile rug to hardwood floor to carpet with ease and I didn't need to adjust the power levels. I was surprised that a stick vacuum could handle the change in floors better than my corded vacuum. My favorite feature is the battery charger compared to my old stick vacuum that plugged into the motor. I was tired of plugging in my old vacuum and tripping over it as it charged on the floor. I love that I can put the vacuum away and remove the battery to charge on the counter. This stick vacuum has allowed me to keep up with household needs and I would highly recommend it to friends and family. It would be a perfect gift for an aging parent due to the lightweight yet powerful suction.

Unique, Powerful, and Funtional Vacuum

First off, this vacuum changed my life! I have 2 messy toddlers, and this was the perfect cordless vacuum for cleaning up after their meals and snack time. The lightweight and sleek design makes it easy to grab and go. I love that it has the option to convert to a smaller handheld vacuum to clean those smaller and harder-to-reach areas. I recently used the crevice tool attachment to vacuum my kid's car seats, and it worked wonders! I think this vacuum is perfect for smaller spaces and messes. Having a larger home (2,000+ sq feet), this vacuum lives on our main floor which is all hardwood. I do not believe this vacuum is made heavy-duty for carpets or rugs. It did not work on one of my thicker rugs as the vacuum kept turning off. We have 3 pets, so the filter filled up fast when vacuuming our upstairs which is all carpet. With all that being said, I am so happy with this vacuum. It is the perfect price point for what it serves and has unique functional attachments. I would recommend this to all friends who are on the search for a vacuum that is easy to use, lightweight, and easy to upkeep at a very unbeatable and reasonable price!
