[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it 2 times and it just stopped working. They are shipping a replacement but not sure if that will work more than 2 times. Add this to the fact it takes 5 hours to charge the battery for 10 minutes of vacuum time and this is a big no for me. It worked great for the 20 minutes I have used it but a broken machine is useless
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is really easy to use. Love the power it has. I have been wanting a cordless machine for awhile. The only issue I have is that it seems to be scraping my linoleum. I may need to return it and try a different one.

Great cordless vacuum for people with cats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great cordless vacuum. I have two cats, a toddler, and a baby who is just learning to walk - I should probably be vacuuming more often. I liked that the PowerLifter Turbo vacuum is lightweight and easy to use. The suction is better than I expected for a cordless vacuum, especially with pets. For instance, in just one go of the rug by my front door, I already had a lot of cat fur and other stuff picked up! It's easy to empty, recharge, and get smaller areas with two interchangeable click-in nozzles. It's also much sleeker than I expected a vacuum to be, so this will be easy to store in my closet. Overall I would recommend this to a friend. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stick vacuum!

I've never used a vacuum like this before and didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! It has pretty good suction and great maneuverability. I like that it's so lightweight. It's especially great on stairs and hard floors. Does ok on carpet, good for a touch up, but maybe not for a full room clean. I don't know that the battery would hold up for multiple rooms of carpet. It has 3 power levels, which is nice since you need more power for carpet than for upholstery. It did great job cleaning the floors and seats in my car. I loved the crevice tool for that job. Cleaned up all the mess from my 3 kids in the back seat. I'd say it even did better than the power vacs at a car wash. Plus I had the convenience of not having to leave home to vacuum out the car. I wish the battery didn't die so fast on high power. Made it hard to do large areas of carpet. That was the only negative I could find. It really does clean great! And charging the battery is so simple, it's not really a big deal. It's similar to a power tool. Detach battery, connect to charger, then reattach when complete. I got a full charge in about 90 minutes. It's so easy to empty/clean out. The attachments click on and off very easily. It doesn't take up much space in my closet. And it's so easy to just clean up a small mess quickly. I really do love it. Cleaning up after my kids just got so much easier and faster! My kids even like to use it. My little one is usually afraid of vacuums. This one doesn't bother her at all. It's much smaller and quieter than our "normal" vacuum. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for easy cleanup tools.

It's really a perfect vacuum for our mix of hard floors, upholstery and area rugs. So useful and handy to have around. Granted, we no longer have a pet (so no pet hair) or small children, SO our dirt levels are pretty modest, but this vacuum does a great job for our needs and I highly recommend it.

One of the best lightweight vacuums!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerLifter Turbo is one of the best lightweight vacuums I have ever used. One thing that sets it apart, are the LED lights on the front making the fact that it's small enough to fit under most furniture even better. Dirt has no chance to hide! It has great suction for a vacuum this size and maintains a charge for a reasonable time. Only complaint I wish the canister was larger to allow for longer use before having to empty it. The power level adjustment was nice to have and it was surprisingly quiet compared to others in the same size category. I would highly recommend this stick vacuum for anyone. It is a stick vacuum so it does have problems with high pile carpet but works great in all other areas it was used in. Our larger Bissell is great for the carpeted areas though. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stick vacuum.

Great for light cleaning - not for messy kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this stick vacuum from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was pretty excited to try a Bissell product. I have 3 kids aged 3y, 5y, and 6y so the amount of dirt, crumbs, and random stuff is ridiculous. It has 3 power modes and while the lowest setting was quiet enough not to bother my light-sleeping toddler in the next room, I preferred medium. I didn't notice a much of a difference between medium and high power. The suction and cleaning was just about what I was expecting. I've never been dissatisfied with a cordless machine's performance. The convenience of not being tied to a wall and not having to worry about accidentally tripping myself is nice. It's so lightweight and pivots nicely. Draw backs? Any piece of paper that was larger than a quarter would get stuck in the little area where it passes from the stick to the actual crumb container. Anything taller than a couple of quarters stacked was too tall and would just be pushed along (but at least kid toys won't get sucked away). I also found that anything moist (like tiny little bits of broccoli floret) just won't get sucked up. I loved how easy it was to empty and clean. I also loved the hand vac accessory better than what I previously used to clean out car seats, sand from the trunk, and kitchen corners. Based on the packaging, I got the impression you would mount it to a wall charger. However, there wasn't a wall mount included. I tried propping it up in a corner and it would just slide down. It doesn't stand upright. Overall, I would recommend this product to the 20 year old college me who lived alone with my dog. It would have been amazing on my weekend clean-ups- getting the dirt and hair my dog and I tracked in off the doggy bed and couch. It would have been so much faster than the broom and lint brush I used back then. That being said, I don't really recommend it to someone in my stage of life. The kinds of messes my kiddos make are too big and moist for this stick vacuum.
