Reliable Samsung TV

Great TV for the price!!

Not knowing anything about what I was doing, it was really very easy for me. So far I have no complaints whatsoever. The picture is crystal clear. No complaints or regrets about my purchase.

Good TV at a really good price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this tv as a replacement for an older tv in the bedroom. That one was 32” and was sometimes tough to read the words on the screen. I didn’t need a high end tv so I looked for an inexpensive entry level tv that was 40”+ in size. I found this one at an attractive price.
Other reviewers noted it had a good picture and good sound from the tv speakers. From what I’ve seen tv speakers tend to be lacking in sound quality so I chose this tv. Nonetheless I am completely satisfied with it. The picture is good and the speakers impressed me as they appear to be better than what I’ve heard from other tvs. It has good functionality of the remote control as it easily learns how to control other items such as Amazon Fire tv stick and even turn on my Xbox. The upscaling is good as well as my Xbox plays in 4K resolution.
One additional item to note: I am an NFL Sunday Ticket subscriber as I like to watch 4 games at once with multiview. When I change the game I have selected to listen to from a game to one of the others it takes about one second to switch the audio to the new game. I bring this up because less than a year ago I bought an LG OLED tv for the living room as a replacement for my other LG tv that no longer worked. When I switch the audio from one game to another one in multiview on that tv it takes almost 10 seconds to switch over. This is probably not a big deal for most people but if you’re a big football fan this may tip your hand to purchase a Samsung tv over other brands.

Getting used to a smart tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like our large screen and good colors. The one thing we don't like is the remote. With no numbers to choose a channel, we're limited to the up, down, right, and left arrows. That makes it less user-friendly than our DirecTV remote. We did finally resolve the initial issue of connecting directly to DirecTV upon start-up, so that helps. We don't usually watch programs from the apps, so the smart tv is definitely a learning curve for us!
