Basic Smart TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the TV to use in my office and didn't realize it had limitations. Unable to install apps that I have installed on my other Samsung television. Also after watching YouTube TV for a while the picture just freezes but the sound continues. I've uninstalled unnecessary apps and use device care and it still continues. If you're looking for just a basic TV this would be okay because it only does basic duty.

Hi Ingramje,
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the issues you are experiencing. Please ensure your TV is running the latest Firmware, version 1132.0. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV:
1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manual & Software > Find your TV model, and click on the Firmware – Upgrade File.
2. When the file has finished downloading, locate it and then unzip it. There is normally one folder inside but there may be multiple files.
3. Copy or move all of the files that were included in the zip file to a USB flash drive, but do not place them inside any other folders. If you place the software folders inside a folder on the USB flash drive, the TV or monitor will not find them.
4. Connect the USB drive containing the software upgrade into a USB port on your device.
5. Using your device's remote, navigate to and select Settings, then select All Settings, and then select Support. Select Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes if prompted.
Your device will search the USB drive for update files. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, it will restart automatically.

Great smart TV, Lots of apps, games, picture sharp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price, this TV is actually really impressive. I like that I can choose and download all the apps I want, and I was surprised that you can even play or stream games on it as long as you have good Wi‑Fi.
The user system is also a big plus. I can switch to my own account with my preferences, and if my cousin comes over, she can log into hers and use her own apps and settings. That flexibility is really convenient.
I’m a fan of the Tizen OS in general. It feels smooth and easy to use, and the overall experience is what I’ve come to expect from Samsung. The built‑in browser could be better, but it still gets basic things done, and it’s not a deal‑breaker for me.
Picture quality is where this TV really shines. The resolution is extremely sharp and detailed – the image is so clear I feel like I can see the actors’ pores if I really wanted to. Colors and clarity make it feel crystal‑like and very satisfying to watch.
Overall, it’s a solid TV all around, I’m happy with it and would recommend it if you want a feature‑rich smart TV with great picture quality for the price.
