[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV works fine as long as I want to watch with the APPS included. I have xfinity cable and it does not connect to my home cable very easy. About half the time I have to turn the tv off and leave it for a day or so.
It would be great if the instructions, which are all in the software would tell you how to set your DEFAULT INPUT TO ONCE PORT..
I will never purchase another SAMASUNG TV. I will go to LG everytime. My LG works and I never have to touch it.

Hi Jerry,
Thank you for your review. While your U8000F TV may currently default to Samsung TV Plus when powered on, you can customize what your TV does at startup by adjusting the Start Screen Options.
To do this, navigate to: Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > Start Screen Option and choose from the following: 1. Start with Smart Hub Home – Automatically launches Smart Hub when the TV is turned on. You can enable or disable this option based on your preference. 2. Autorun Multi View Casting – If you cast YouTube content from your mobile device, the TV will automatically display the content using Multi View. 3. Autorun Multi View Mirroring – When you screen mirror your mobile device, Multi View will automatically open to show your device’s screen
If you need additional support, Samsung is here to help. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, available 8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun. You can also chat with a LiveChat agent by clicking the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Hi Robert,
Thank you for sharing your experience with your U8000F TV. If you are hearing abnormal sounds coming from your TV, please try the following:
1. Check volume and mute settings, and make sure the Sound Output is set to TV Speaker: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Output > TV Speaker 2. Run a Sound Test to help diagnose the issue: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test 3. Cold boot your TV by holding the power button on the remote until the TV turns off and back on (Or unplug the TV from power for 30 seconds, then plug it back in) 4. Reset sound settings to default: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Reset Sound 5. Update your TV’s software in case a firmware issue is affecting audio: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
If none of these steps resolve your issues, please contact us for further assistance. You can reach Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun. LiveChat is also available via the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Hi SaFa,
Thanks for sharing your experience with your U8000F TV. Unusual sounds can come from different sources, so first check whether it’s from the TV speakers, an external device (like a soundbar), or the back of the TV. • For external audio, ensure cables are connected to the correct output • If using antenna or cable, check signal strength: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Broadcast Signal • Popping sounds from the back may be due to thermal expansion - this is normal and not a malfunction • Run a Sound Test to troubleshoot: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test
If the issue continues, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). LiveChat and additional support resources are also available through the Support link on our website.
