Will not pair with my Dish Remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Programming devices such as Dish Remote has not worked with the instructions from Samsung. The programs and menus all appear to be "Intuitive" and require "techie" knowledge that is difficult to understand and follow for me. Some of the instruction and programming may work for engineers, for me it has been super frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your U8000F TV. Learn TV Remote is a feature designed to help users become familiar with the layout and function of each button on the Samsung remote. When enabled, pressing any button (except the Power button, which will still turn off the TV) will prompt the TV to announce the button’s name and its purpose – without affecting TV operation.
This teaching mode is especially useful for users who are visually impaired or new to Samsung remotes. To enable this feature, go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Learn TV Remote. To exit, simply press the Return key twice.

Good features, good value, recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aesthetically, it's a good looking TV. I use the automatic energy settings and so the brightness settings are a little bit low. I would prefer a little bit more brightness. So the automatic settings on that I don't like. The connectivity, it keeps connecting and disconnecting. I'm always able to reconnect so that's not a problem. But while I'm watching a show it will stop and I have to get out of the show and reconnect. That's annoying. I don't have this problem with my computer or my tablet or my phone on my Wi-Fi so I think it's just the tv. And I'm right in the same room. The resolution, it has a great picture quality. I cannot complain at all. It looks three-dimensional and like you can just reach out And touch. Security? I've had a few people try to connect to it (neighbors) and I was able to say good night. But I have had a couple times somebody would turn on or turn off my tv? Or the TV settings would pop up, things like that without being ever prompted on my end. So I thought that was kind of strange. Never had anything like that with any other tv. I really like using my Samsung telephone... Broadcasting my screen to my TV when I'm working on it.
