[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have my TV mounted in a swivel mount. It makes my room into a personal theater. The contrast is crisp and sound in excellent. If you lose the remote there's phone as control also. It was a good buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I should have gotten a oled tv instead colors are brighter than this one,I don't like it and plan on taking it to the pawn shop,guess I can live without a tv for a while.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’re sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the picture quality on your Samsung U8000F TV. If the image appears too dark, we suggest disabling certain energy-saving features, which can automatically adjust brightness and affect how the screen looks.
Go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving, then turn off Brightness Optimization, Energy Saving Solution, Motion Lighting, and/or Contrast Enhancer.
You can also adjust the Picture Mode to better suit your environment: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
• Standard – Default mode for general viewing
• Dynamic – Brighter and clearer, ideal for well-lit rooms
• Movie – Best for dark room viewing
• Eco – Energy-saving mode
• Filmmaker Mode – Preserves content as intended by creators
To fine-tune brightness, go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, then adjust the Brightness level (0–50) to your preference.
Lastly, please make sure your TV is running the latest firmware: Home > Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

Out With The Old In With The New

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am satisfied with this new TV. The overall picture clarity is clean, clear and the colors are vibrant and real. I like that I can move through the options fairly quickly. The settings navigation needs a little practice to operate. I am transitioning from the Samsung Series 6, curve smart TV, 55" model. So the menu for this model is much more detailed and takes a little practice to work through. I like that I can get a clear picture in any light. However, sometimes darker movies are best watched with the lights off. The picture quality is equal across all sites and streaming services. I also like the the clear sound quality. I do not have to raise the vume too high to here the dialog well. The set up was very easy. It only a took a few minutes to inbox it, install the leg brackets, set up the viewing preferences. I believe it was less than 20 minutes from the opening of the box to actually being able to sit and watch my favorite show. I was even able to connect my ps4 pretty easily, although I had to be adapters for my my retro ps4, DVD player and WII game console, as they require multiple colored audio visual ports for the aux chords. And this new TV has less ports to connect wired accessories of this nature. But I was able to find adapters to connect them. The TV is also very light and easy to lift and put in place. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and would definitely purchase it again. Also, I did not wall mount my TV, but it feels very stable on my TV stand. My cat loves to jump up, rub on it and walk around it, and it doesn't wobble or topple over. My daughters use it for gaming as well and the picture quality is amazing and realistic. Even when playing some of their retro games, the picture quality is still excellent.
