I first received my product with no screws on one of the hinges. I was really disappointed as I waited a bit for my cooler. It also felt like the cooler itself was not checked for other problems as it came slightly scuffed and maintained plastic frays on the handle. I originally requested a replacement but changed my mind as I did not want to risk getting another defective cooler when I really needed one soon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Most durable I've ever had!

My husband and I have 2 of the original coolers. They are in great condition we use them all the time and have never had a problem with either one of them. My husband received one of them as a prize at his senior prom and he will turn 50 next month. We would highly recommend the purchase of this cooler to anyone. We are retired, do a lot of driving mostly as a past time and pack a cooler for every excursion we take (at least 2 or 3 every week). I think these coolers will outlast us, they are over 30 years old and as good as new.

Gets the job done, took two gallons of water and filled it up with a 10lb bag of ice and while the ice retention lasted only a day and a half, it was more than efficient at keeping the water jugs cool.

Extraordinarily bad quality. It made a horrendous sound when opening and closing and the top detailing was messy to say the least which is wild to me because it is made from a mold.
