this is a good pot to buy BUT be aware of this, ALL parts have been discontinued so you WILL have to just buy a whole new pot when something breaks
I would recommend this to a friend!

The idea for this little crock pot is wonderful, I wanted to love it when I saw it, and I needed something like this for taking a lunch to work, but…getting the inner lid ON or OFF is simply impossible. Ditto for the outer lid. What in the world is making this so difficult? Not fun. Poor design I guess.

Hello! We are sorry to hear you are having troubles opening and closing the lid. We recommending rinsing the lid to remove any possible residue. Please be cautious about the charging port. Cover the charging port and hold the product upside down while rinsing the rim.

Bought this for my hubby, so he can have hot lunches in colder weather, he loves it. The lid fits snug, no leaking, and it heats up his lunch perfectly. So far he has taken soups, stew, chili and chicken alfredo, all heated up perfectly and I just wish there was a way to buy extra containers for it! The interior container washes up nicely by hand or in the dishwasher and the lid does not get warped in the dishwasher on the top rack like so many other plastic lids do.
My daughter had wanted this electric lunch box for years....I was hesitant to spend the money thinking it would be problematic. I wasn't wrong. Once this thing heats up and the lid seals you can't get the lid off of the food container. You're holding a hot metal bowl with a lid that pulls up instead of turns and there's nothing to get your fingers under to pull with the amount of force you need to get the lid off. Yes, we relieved the pressure with the little valve. We literally broke the container lid trying to get it off. Prying doesn't work either because again, you have to hold a hot metal bowl to get any leverage. Can you please redesign the inner lid? Give it a real handle to pull on or make it twist off ?

We are genuinely sorry to hear about the challenges you have encountered with our electric lunch box, and we appreciate you sharing your experience. We understand the frustration you must feel. We apologize for the difficulty you have faced in removing the lid, even after relieving the pressure through the valve. I love this little crockpot so much! I hate using a microwave to reheat my lunch everyday, so this has been great. The one problem is the lid no longer fits tight. It basically just sits on top now and no longer twists to seal. I’m so bummed.
Love this! I work in the construction field and it’s so nice to have hot, warm meals. I want to order more inserts for the 20oz though! And I can’t figure out where to get more! Please help me with that!
