Exactly what I was looking for.

I decided to purchase this product so I may stop using the microwave in the lunch room. When I received the Smart Pot I thought it was small, but was able to cook 1/2 of cup of dried oatmeal for breakfast and in the afternoon reheat a full 10oz bag of frozen vegetables.
The oatmeal cooked within 45 min and the vegetable within the hour.
Clean up was simple and transporting the Smart Pot was easy because it is lightweight and has a handle.
Cons: none

This little mini crockpot is perfect to take for my lunch; it cooks, heats and keeps my lunch warn while I'm eating. I wish I had more! I also purchased it as a gift for a couple of my friends and they love it too.

I am a teacher and purchased yesterday with the intent to heat my lunch in my classroom. I was worried that there would not be enough time to get it hot enough. This product was fantastic! I put leftover soup that had been refrigerated overnight in the bowl with the lid. I plugged it in about 7:15 and my lunch was at 10:30, I was really nervous that it would not be hot enough BUT it was perfect hot but not scalding. (The only issue was carrying it to the school cafeteria, it spilled a little bit.)

Bought these for Christmas gifts for my co-workers. Used them for the first time today and they loved them. They always ate cold food at lunch because they ate in their car. Now they have warmed food which they loved. Just need one with a car adapter for to plug into their lighters!!! Great product.

these were gifts for my granddaughters to use in college dorm rooms..They seemed very thrilled with them, but since they haven't gone back to school from Christmas break, they haven't actually used them yet.

My husband works a late night shift so I was excited to be able to send him to work with a hot dinner. This crock pot was much smaller than expected and on our limited income, I wasted $25 plus shipping. There is nothing that could fill him up and warm him that would fit in this crock pot. Wasted money, wasted Christmas gift. I'm really disappointed.
Pros: the cord wraps up nicely
Cons: expensive, shipping was expensive, too small to actually use for a work meal
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Christmas present I got this year!

I received this as a gift after ooh'ing and ahh'ing over it during a shopping trip a few months ago. I'm loving it as we're going through winter, it's plugged in at my desk as I write this. I agree with someone else who mentioned the internal lid popping off, but that's normal from what I've read, so it's all good. Homemade soup just tastes better warmed this way compared to the microwave, and this great little thing adds 5-10 minutes to my lunch hour that I don't have to trek across the building to the break room, wait in line for the microwave, etc. Upon reading the other reviews, I'm anxious to see what else I can try in it - leftover chinese food? Chicken? I'd love for Crock-Pot to make some suggestions that I may not be considering.
Pros: great size easy to carry, no smell throughout the office
Cons: cord could be a little longer
