As a busy person and a cpa This is excellent for leaving a meal home with someone who cant cook....All they need to know is on and off and all the worries are gone....I would highly recommend for the people on the go who dont need a large crock

Great for heating up lunch!

This little Crock Pot Lunch warmer has been the greatest little device I use. I like being able to slowly warm up my lunch and avoid the whole "microwave effect" that occurs when leftovers are warmed up. I've used the lunch warmer to reheat soups, stews, casseroles, etc. it's great for heating just about any food you can put in it.
The only thing I don't like about the product is the lid does pop up on the insert when food is being reheated. I would not recommend swinging the warmer around when you're ready to eat. When transporting, I leave the warmer at my office, I put the tin insert in a plastic bag just in case the lid does come off.
Either way, I would still recommend this product!
Pros: reheats great, safe to touch when removing insert, stow and go cord
Cons: the insert plastic lid

This product is great for those that need to take their food on the go or want a home-cooked meal for work. Ideal for heating up soup or chili during the winter!

Best lunch ever

I use this little jewel for my lunch at work every day. I can use leftovers or just a can of soup, plug it in an hour before my lunch and I get a nice hot lunch with out running out to a fast food joint. It's small and convienient and works like a charm. I also put cold food in the insert. then i take it out of the frig in the morning and put it in my little crock pot. At lunch time, it's still nice and cold to eat for lunch. I love my little crock pot.. I bought one for my son in law and now I"m buying one for my son to have at his job. They're really awesome.
Pros: easy to clean., easy to use, so portable, heats up quickly, really cute

Doesn't leak smells

Awesome product. Doesn't smell up the office with food smells which would annoy coworkers. Seems to heat to the perfect temperature whether it's on for almost 4 hours or as little as 2 hours. I add cheese about 20 minutes before lunch and keep it unplugged until lunch. It's small and only takes up the space of an insulated lunch container. The cord wraps in a manner so it looks like a non-electric container (so it doesn't draw attention to itself). The handle is great for carrying, so I usually keep the unit all together and carry it back and forth each day instead of keeping the unit at work and just carrying the removable liner container. The removable container and cover are very easy to hand-wash. It holds the perfect amount of food - enough to make me uncomfortably full (so I don't have to worry about being hungry after lunch).
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought one of the lunch crocks. Thought it a little pricey for a lunch; however I have to carry lunch daily & grew tired of sandwiches. So glad I gave it a try! It is awesome! I love it! Food is perfect temp, never dry. Bought 4 more for gifts. I would love to see some "inserts" where you could separate foods for a real meat and 2 sides! Thank You Rival for such an innovative product.
Pros: easy to clean in dishwasher or by hand, perfect size even for hearty appetites, food always at perfect temp never dry, light and easy to carry, like the power on light
Cons: needs 2 stackable inserts to separate foods

wire broke in first month

bad design doesn't allow wire to bend as it should to wrap around the unit

I purchased the Crock Pot because I thought it was cute and an easy way to heat up my food. This was the best decision I made so far in2014. I bring it to work everyday and heat up everything from chilli, lasagana to soup. Everyone at my job wants one or wants to purchase it as a gift for someone. I love it.
