Perfect for anywhere!

I got one for Christmas 2 years ago and ABSOLUTELY love it! We no longer have a kitchen at work so i pack something and put it when i get in in the morning and it's nice and hot by lunch!
My daughter has a wheat allergy and the school has NOTHING safe for her to eat, so they said they would find somewhere to plug a lunch crock in for her! so far so good! she loves taking leftovers like chicken or mac and cheese. if you put a piece of foil in, you can separate food items as well!!! perfect idea for lunches. I wish they came with a car charger cable so my husband could take one for lunch where he doesn't have anywhere inside to plug one in. i'm sure there are way around it but a choice would be a great upgrade!

Love the fact that I can put ANYTHING in it. Soup, stew, even lasagna and it heats evenly and doesn’t burn. Love that I plug it in when I get to work, and 4 hours later at lunch it’s ready to go.

I have had this about two months now and I use it daily. I'm a truck driver so it works wonderfully in my truck. I can't see a day without using it

Inside lid does not stay on for transport

asked for this for Christmas, and love the general idea and how it works once it's ready to go, but it's so much of a pain to actually transport food in the removable crock, as the lid does not stay on after the first use. I understand that it will kind of pop off when it's inside and getting warm, but that warps the lid and the first time is the only time you can actually use the inner lid to take your food in the crock from home to work without rigging something up to keep it in place and prevent the food from spilling on your commute. This inner lid is a poor design, and it costs LITERALLY as much to buy a replacement crock, once shipping is added, as it does to purchase a whole new unit. Why aren't there either just the inside lids sold or a seal lid that you remove before you put it into the actual unit? Clearly, after reading reviews, I am not the only one with these issues. If you came up with a lid that sealed OVER the inside crock that you would remove, I bet you'd sell a ton of them. Guess I'll keep rubber banding and placing it in a ziplock until they find a solution.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I take my lunch to work and love having something hot! Before leaving home I just pour soup/stew from a can add some seasoning ( tomato soup with basil) or some homemade chili or Chix & rice (frozen )......plug it up by 9:30 and hot lunch by 12 noon.
