This is my third crock. One cord shorted out after a almost 2 years. In this new crock there looks to have a safer connection between the cord and crock. I gave one to my spouse, gave one to a friend and have an extra. About 8 of us at work have these now. We travel a lot and usually do not have access to a microwave. It's nice to be able to bring something home -cooked and hot to eat. Thanks Crock Pot!

Please note that it is normal for the lid to lift up as your food heats up, in order to release steam. For this reason we do not advise filling the container more than 3/4 of the way for best results.

I actually thought it's a little bigger, I actually love it one hour before I go for my lunch I plugged it. I only wish that I'll be able to get different colors rather than one only

I bought this because the microwave at work is always disgustingly dirty. I know my crock pot is clean because I do it myself. I love that I can leave the base at work. I only take home the stainless inside. It has not leaked on me.The temp[erature of my prepared food is perfect.
