[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you wanted or was interested in buying this crockpot go, here is my review so far. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and I have mixed feelings. I enjoy having hot food but it’s very small. I’ll continue to use it and do a update review in a few months. Super easy to use and definitely keeps food hot for a long time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, this Crockpot Go! Unit is officially the CUTEST APPLIANCE I have ever seen! I had no idea such a thing existed and am pleasantly surprised to find that it does. No more boring sandwiches for lunch at work! This miniature crockpot is basically a stainless steel electric lunchbox. It is not meant to cook uncooked foods like raw meat, but to warm leftovers or cold, pre cooked items. It can also keep food cold when not plugged in. This doesn't heat up super quickly and will need to be plugged in well in advance of eating, but it is seriously the coolest thing ever. My husband normally will not bring leftovers to work for lunch because he doesn't usually have a way to reheat them, or microwaving just ruins the taste or texture. With Crockpot Go! I can pack him, for instance, a chicken breast, mashed potatoes, and veggies leftover from the previous night. He can plug the crockpot in at work and his lunch will be hot and taste like it was just cooked in the oven, ready when he is. I will note that this does not shut off automatically and continues to heat while plugged in, so be sure not to forget the base is still on and burn the ever loving daylight out of the inner container after using. Cleanup is fairly easy as the removable container and lid are both dishwasher safe. The unit itself is not submersible and must be hand cleaned with a soapy wet cloth and then dried. Overall, this is an awesome product that I definitely see my household using heavily. I would recommend it to anyone who eats on the go and wants to upgrade their lunchbox!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never show up to a party empty handed but always have a hard time keeping my warm things warm. This kept my queso at the perfect temperature and I didn’t have to bug the hostess for microwave space. All my friends want one now. Can’t wait to try it out for warm lunches this year!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an absolute hidden gem! I would’ve never thought that I would need this little mini crockpot….until I got one! It is so perfect to use when my husband goes into the office. Especially for those night before dinner left overs. I just throw left over pasta, or soup, or meatloaf etc in and he has an actual warm large lunch instead of a sandwich or yogurt again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this so I can make food and travel whether for work or just driving around and it keeps my food nice and warm. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice warm meal instead of having to microwave. I love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such an awesome lunch box! It looks nice, is a great size, and is fairly lightweight. The cord storage on the bottom is neat and secure. It warms food up and keeps it warm even 1-2 hours after being unplugged. Or, it can be used to keep food cool for up to 3 hours. I've found it to be easy to clean since the stainless steel container and inner lid can be washed in the dishwasher. The outer lid and warming base need to be handwashed, but that's been easy too because I haven't had them get messy. The only thing that could make it better for me would be another insert or a divider to give it more flexibility to have different foods that don't mix well.
It would have been nice if some basic warming times were included, but the manual just says heat times will vary. It has a 3.5 cup capacity, and filled to the max line, I was able to warm up a 4 serving container of tomato soup in about 1 1/2 hours. A smaller size serving of shrimp pasta took only 30-40 minutes. I think these are reasonable times for a small slow cooker.
I recommend this lunch box if you work in an office and want to avoid putting plastic containers into the messy microwave, or are a person who wants to keep food hot or cold on the go. I think it would make a great gift too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this crockpot go, it's a perfect size to carry around and looks very sleek. It doesn't really weigh anything so it's easy to carry. It has a stainless bowl and it beats up pretty quickly to warm up your lunch and since it's insulated you lunch will stay warm and it doesn't take much time to heat up. The only downside I can think of is that it doesn't have a car charger so you can use it in the car.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Crockpot GO is pretty cool. It's called an electric lunch box and that really fits. It's sturdy and very well made. You can put anything in there and not worry about spills. It's small, but holds more than you think it will. So easy to use. I think it's cute and fun, too.
