comfortable seat with a rough cover

Before buying this seat, I used an FIA-certified racing seat with a velour cover.
The Fanatec is significantly more comfortable, though it offers slightly less lateral support, which was clear before ordering. You can drive long stints without experiencing any back pain. My only, but major, criticism is the cover. While it may be breathable, I sweat considerably more than in my previous seat, and the surface is so rough that cruising comfortably with my arms resting on the seat while wearing a t-shirt becomes an uncomfortably scratchy experience. In such cases, I resorted to using two towels. I expected more from a seat made by a reputable manufacturer. Would I buy it again? Definitely not. I couldn't return it because I bought it during a time when I wasn't wearing a t-shirt and only discovered this flaw too late.
