My 42LDE450 Flatscreen TV is Awesome!!

I went from watching a 25" oldschool TV to watching this 42" flatscreen TV, and WOW what a difference. It's so amazing the difference with the clarity that I'm going through and watching all my DVD's and BluRays over again. What a pleasure to watch all the HD cable channels, enjoying the total full screen. The palladia channel, with the concerts, is completely awesome!

Have had this model for over a year and no problems at all. It looks slick and has a great picture for TV, movies, and as a computer monitor.

I have had this tv for about 3 days. My living room is 17X24 so i was afraid the tv would be too small to see from the longest part of the room...WRONG! It the perfect size and i couldnt beat the amazing price. I bought it because i have always trusted LG as a brand and come to think of it i have not owned a cell phone other than LG. If your thinking twice about this tv..dont! its a great tv and a great price!

Giving LG a shot

It's hard to know how good any product is after only 3 months. LG used to be Goldstar, some of the worst electronics made. So far it's been good. Good picture quality, ease of setup, features and price. My only gripe so far is that there are no RCA jacks for audio output. I have to use the built in headphone jack with the use of an adapter or the optical jack. Using the headphone jack disables any audio adjustments. The price was right.
Pros: Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great T.V.

My husband just bought me this T.V. for Christmas and let me hook it up,it has a beautiful picture and we love having it in our bedroom hooked to a Blu-Ray player my son does'nt want to watch the T.V. in his room or the living room even though both are LED T.V.s.

Time Will Tell Now

Getting the tv configured and set up was easy. However, after about 3 weeks of off and on use, it stopped working in the middle of using it. It just shut off and wouldn't power up. It's plugged into a UPS and there was no type of surge. LG put me in touch with a local technician who came out. As a precaution, I hired an electrician to come out and check my electric and he determined everything looked fine. The technician came back out w/ a new power cord and it didn't work. He ordered some parts (I think a new motherboard of some sort) and it took a few weeks for the part to come in and get my tv fixed. Luckily this isn't my main tv, otherwise I would have been absolutely livid. The new part worked and I haven't had any issues, but it has only been a couple of weeks.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
