volume control range not good

We LOVE our new TV! The picture, etc, is phenomenal. However, the range from which we can control the volume is unacceptable! We could always control our old TV's volume from the kitchen, about 20-25 feet away, but this TV's remote cannot control the volume from more than about 15'! That is a rediculous inconvenience! Our telephone is in the kitchen. When we go to answer the phone, we would like to be able to turn the volume down on the TV. It's not possible. BAD BAD BAD!

This TV is everything I needed without the sticker shock! Great looking set, picture quality is great, easy to set up to get best quality picture. 3D excluded, this set gets as good or better picture as sets twice the price. We love it! It does have a bit to be desired in the sound department. not great sound but adequate and my sound sysem more than makes up for it.

I bought this TV in Dec 2010 and have enjoyed it every since. The picture and colors are vivid and crisp. There is no distortion viewing from an angle. The sound is great. The quality and visual appearance of the TV is first class and will fit in any room. You can not buy a better TV for the price. I would highly recommend this TV.

Very impressed with the overall picture quality, and satisfied with the contrast ratio. Only thing I would've like to have seen was a standard RCA audio output. I have enjoyed that feature on TVs in the past. All in all great buy, would recommend ii to anybody looking for a well priced high quality TV.

Rapid Failure

I purchased this TV online and set it up the day after it arrived. Beautiful picture! About 5 days later, the screen went to a pink color with no image. We called LG and they sent out a serviceman. He found a loose connection from a circuit board to the screen. Said he would take the board with him. So no NFL Superbowl! About 4-5 days later, the repairman installed the now board, and so far, everythink is good.

Purchased TV on line and I knew it was not a top of the line set but got a very good price. The picture quality is very good and it has been working great for 4 months now.
