Amazing Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set did not disappoint. It took several hours to put together. It was the perfect difficulty level for a 14 year old to build. It kept him entertained. Also when you are finished building you have over 10 characters to display so you can create new displays over and over. The quality was great and the pieces easily snapped together.

Fun but difficult to build

The set comes with several characters, and we loved that parts of the castle move, which makes it even more fun to play with after it’s built. Overall, it’s a great set with lots of fun details!

Epic Build with Awesome Details!

Fun to build and cool to display

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is one of those kids that really enjoys building blocks but they are not all created equal. The Mattel Brick Shop did not disappoint. The blocks click together firmly, the pieces are organized in a way he could understand out of the box, and the diagrams in the instructions are clear. With only a little help from dad, he has a solid Masters of the Universe skull to play with and display in his room. He’s very pleased to add this to his collection. I would definitely recommend these bricks to any other building block lovers.

Challenging and satisfying build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was really interested in this Castle Greyskull. He loves building, and this project looked like one that would challenge him, while also being satisfying.
He really appreciated how nice the instructions were! They didn’t just give building instructions, but they also included information about Castle Grayskull through the years. What makes this set different than other building sets is that the characters are designed to set up for display more than play. The characters are intricate, and positioned in specific stances, which makes them perfect for display purposes. My son loves to display his building sets on a shelf in his room.
Another unique difference to this set is that the towers turn to reveal the inside. My son liked turning the towers to change the display, showing the characters dueling on either side.

I Have The Power! (Of Patience)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattel Brick Shop Masters Of the Universe( The Castle Of Grayskull) brought back so many good memories of my childhood that I could not wait to build it. Being as this was my first building set as an adult I thought how hard could be. Harder than I anticipated. There was 867 pieces all bagged separately for each part of the castle along with 16 nanofigures. The instruction booklet was 179 pages and the color scheme was off making it harder to put together. The pieces didnt snap as securely as I would have liked and it made it difficult to keep in place. In total it took me about 2 days to assemble. Overall I enjoyed assembling Grayskull and cant wait for my next set.

Castle Grayskull: quality build with fun figures

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This He-Man Castle Grayskull Brick Shop set was a lot of fun to put together. Overall, my 13 year old, who is a skilled builder with these types of sets, said it was a fairly smooth build. There were a few steps where the pieces were difficult to put together and the build was not as structurally stable as she was used to. The details on the castle were really cool, and all of my kids loved the little micro figures. The number of them and the detail of them were great touches and really added to the set’s aesthetic. The features where the tower spins for active play were nice building touches that add to keeping their interest once the build is complete. We were curious how this set would compare to other brands, and I’d say we were pleasantly surprised!

Great set, fun figures

The bricks were good quality and mostly easy to put together. They struggled with a few steps, but were able to figure it out themselves. They really loved the addition of all the small figures. The completed set is a great addition to any Masters of the Universe fan’s collection.
