Great Air Purifier Purchase

It has been a few weeks since the PuroAir 400 arrived. We have it in our great room (kitchen, den, living room and dining room space) and it's perfect for the job. It runs quietly on the normal setting 24/7. On occasion when the kitchen activity and smells peak, it senses this immediately and will ramp up to deal with that. It's been interesting to watch how it handles our indoor activities. We're so pleased thus far!!

Good but needs design improvement

Puro Air 400 removes dust and particulate from the air. Helped improved air quality in my bedroom.Design that is just stupid. Areas that need improvement.1. Light always on except in sleep mode. However, Sleep mode defaults to low speed. I want medium or high speed on at night for background noise. Have to use a towel to block light at night for higher speeds to block green light.2. Power cord comes out of front of unit. Air is sucked in the front. Meanwhile the cord has to go around unit to the wall. The cord should come out of the back.3. The top of the unit has slats for air flow. Makes sense. Same design is carried thru to the whole top. Dust gathers in the grooves. A flat design top is preferred.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have not noticed much difference in our allergies, but that’s not to say it’s not working. We got it mainly for cats in the house. It runs smooth smoothly. It seems to work well it’s quiet.
